Ocean Suites

Luxurious, steampunk influenced, spacious suite hotel right in the centre of Santa Maria just a few steps from the beach. Closer to centre than the tourist hotels at a better rate. We had complementary breakfast included. Very helpful and friendly staff. Allowed a late check out until our flight was due. Live entertainment at night. Ocean can advise and book all excursions you want to experience.

It was perfect holiday. Ocean suites is good mix of interesting design and local culture. Perfect location. We are 3 friends used room 7 Sal suite. It was big enough, clean and comfy. Perfect service. Friendly and attentive stuff, especially for breakfast. I love these lazy mornings, you will feel like you are only one and the main guest in the hotel. The restaurant works all day, we had dinner a few times there. All food was very tasty (tried mix of seafood, royal seafood pizza, risotto with seafood, pasta with seafood). Music every night till 24:00, everybody dancing even all stuff dancing. It's special sharm. Love it. Highly recommend Ocean suites for adult and active tourists.

Very kind staff, they were asking if we needed anything during the whole time. The breakfast was tasty and various. The atmosphere was great day and night. At dinner time you enjoy tasty food while dancing and having good time with everyone.

Very stylish, unique design, clean and spacious Suites. Amazing staff, great breakfast, perfect location near the beach/city center, nice lively bar and great atmosphere. I highly recommend Ocean Suites to anyone looking for a great accommodation in Sal/Santa Maria!!

Very pleasant welcome when you arrive. Nice vibe with live music. You can have either cocktail or food or both and enjoy the place. Our server William has been very attentive and was always making sure that everything was alright for. I recommend Ocean suite to have a pleasant experience.

My stay at Ocean Suites was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a delightful experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfectly located in the heart of town. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

We had an amazing time at Ocean Suites and can only say good things. The only thing you need to be aware is the music from the bar at goes untill 00h. As long as you are aware of this before you book, You're gonna have a great time. We stayed 4 nights, some we went to bed while the bar is still full and we still manage to rest. The rooms are next level. Probably the most comfortable bed we've been, the shower has a lot of pressure (which we were aware could be a problem in Santa Maria), 30s from the beach and close to all main spots in Santa Maria center.  But with all of this being said, the best part of all was really the staff. Before arriving we were in contact with Dory who answered all our questions in record time, and once we were there everyone in the cafe is so welcoming, from bar, cleaning and kitchen staff that you feel like you're at home. Shoutout to Felino and Adilson from the morning shift who gave us a lot of information, took care of any questions/requests we needed and always with a smile. Number one choice in Sal from now on. We recently stayed here 4 nights in the Tito Paris Suite. We had a fantastic time . The suites ate located in the heart of Santa Maria over the Ocean Bar which has music every night and is certainly the place to be in Sal on a Saturday night .The restaurant offers great food . The suites themselves were huge and really tastefully decorated with a big deep balcony. Ours had a view over the square and was a perfect people watching spot. The staff are excellent and in fact were a real highlight of our stay. They are warm helpful and fun a real credit to Ocean Shores and to Cape Verde. Special praise to Nelson and Adilsen. Steffi the manager was super helpful and organised a day tour of the island with Monica another highlight of our stay and a local Sim Card for me .Thanks for a brilliant stay. A shame Sal is so far from Australia but hopefully we will return one day.
