Un hotel de 4 estrellas que para el país en el que estamos está perfecto. Nosotros solo reservamos con desayuno para poder hacer más actividades pero no sé si ofrece la opción de todo incluido. Personal muy amable y atento, habitaciones con aire acondicionado y minibar. Cruzas la calle y está la playa, relación calidad precio un poco elevada para el tipo de hotel pero recomendable. Desayuno de calidad y variado con tortillas y huevos fritos hechos en directo

Went for 5 nights, we were happy with the location and the perfect size of the hotel. Walking distance into Santa Maria, and all the rooms overlooked the pool. Although we had booked Bed and breakfast, we had dinner a couple of times and both were really good. The only thing was dinner was alittle on the cold, would have been perfect if it was served at the right tempreture. Room was clean and spacious and staff were very friendly.

I stayed here for 5 days in May. Most of the staff were nice; some were unfriendly and did not smile back or initiate the first greeting. The tv in my room did not work. It was exchanged for another tv which also didn't work; there was something wrong with the volume and barely any sound coming out. There were birds and flies on the food at breakfast every morning. The staff were aware of this but did not cover anything. I pointed this out to one of the staff but he didn't seemed bother. On one occasion, a member of housekeeping entered my room without knocking. I was completely undressed and was very annoyed about this. Half-board option wasn't good value for money. It was a set dinner menu - not buffet and the portions were small. The options were also limited. The beauty suite was good.

Loved this hotel. I usually pick a 5 star hotel but after looking at reviews and prices I chose Dunas de Sal. Our room was on first floor up. It was fine. Bathroom was a little tired but fine. Fridge stocked with various things if you were desperate. We stayed B&B so nipped to local supermarket to get a few supplies. Breakfast was fabulous. Omelette station, fruit, cereals, bread and various different foods daily. Lovely pool. Sunbeds always available. It’s all kept very clean. This hotel is so quiet I loved it. We seemed to be the only Brits there. No children around and in fact Cape Verde isn’t really a place for children or teens. I noticed that at the airport. We walked into town 15/20 mins once or twice but we were happy with all the beaches close by. The hotel does have a few sunbeds on the beach for guests to use. You don’t get told this but I read this in a previous review. Beach is straight across the road. Poolside lunch and dinner was lovely at the hotel. I preferred the food here to eating out tbh. Staff are lovely. If you walk about a mile behind the hotel Ponte Preta ( you can see the bar/cafes from the hotel on the horizon) you will find a couple of places next to another stretch of beautiful beach. Had the local Wahoo fish here. You have to like the wind in Sal. It’s pretty much a constant. Weather was a decent 20 degrees. Bit cooler at night but not as cool as canaries. Airport tax was took from us at the airport and we are trying to get a refund from TUI for that. All in all if you want a peaceful relaxing hotel with good food near beautiful beaches then I totally recommend Dunas de Sal ! Beautiful X

We stayed Sunday 12th - till Sunday 19th January in room 307 -rooms were spotlessly cleaned daily by housekeeping, bed was very comfortable, and had a great view on the 3rd floor over the hotel grounds and swimming pool. Good choice of breakfast, which was varied daily, fruit, pastries, savoury and omelette station, Great selection of tea's.(Stassen my favourite)- we stayed B&B although you can choose lunch and dinner if you wish. Staff were very friendly and helpful- you can arrange trips from the Front desk, which are reasonable priced. Although the hotel is not on the beech front, is just a couple of minutes and the hotel has 10-12 umbrella and lay beds on the beach area - which are complimentary to hotel guests. Gardens are well laid out and well kept by the gardens. The hotel is a nice stroll some 10minutes by road or you can walk alone the beech side promenade into town- many restaurants catering for all tastes and price ranges. Would certainly recommend and if in the area again would book without hesitation. Thanks for a great stay. Keith & Partner P.S. on Tuesday's & Fridays - Yoga sessions - which were great and relaxing.
