Hotel Riu Palace Santa Maria - All Inclusive recensioner

Can’t complain! Was a good beautiful hotel with plenty of food and drinks for all guests! Very easy to get there from the airport and everyone speaks English if you don’t speak the native language or similar. Most requests are done via their handy app which is easy to navigate and all inclusive is true to the name! You only pay for anything extra such as treatments in the Spa or items from the shop located on site otherwise everything else is included in the cost of your stay! I would have preferred more options for the 24hr “snack/food option” but this was only used out of hours so not many times for me.

Amazing resort. Will differently be going back soon.

Fantastiskt hotell med högkvalitativa drycker och mat, mycket vänlig och uppmärksam personal, perfekt läge med en fantastisk strand! Mycket avslappnad atmosfär i foajén och kaffeområdet och exceptionellt rent. Kommer definitivt att återvända 😀

Great all inclusive hotel catering for couples. There is a water park for kids / young families. Lovely beach. Decent range of foods in the buffet hall. Excellent cocktails and a local palatable lager. Rooms well designed. Friendly staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was lovely, food excellent in the buffet, we did try a couple of the speciality restaurants but thought the food was better in the buffet. It did get crowded at certain times but found if we went a bit later all was good. Used Edgar Pires by the lighthouse for a tour of the Island , what a lovely chap and had a good day. Would recommend . No mosquito bites or stomach upsets which was a plus. All in all a lovely place to visit

Second trip here. This was for our 30th anniversary and although advising us they had no sea view rooms available we turned up to a free upgrade to one and some champagne. It’s a wonderful resort, very friendly staff. It’s incredibly clean and if you want a relaxing break with guaranteed sun there is no better place

We could not fault this holiday and hotel. The service was amazing - the staff were all so pleasant and helpful. Cape Verde is small and if you are looking for hustle and bustle this is not the place. If you are looking to relax then this is the place to go. The drinks and food choices are very good also and service is quick. The spa gave me the best massage I’ve had as well as a lovely facial. The rooms were lovely, the only small criticism is in regards to the mattresses being quite hard and I had a bit of a sore back. Otherwise this was the best time and I plan to come back.

Great location ,hotel, food , staff and service , if I had to list any faults I would say room towels need replacing as quite small and thin fabric

This riu was similar to others I’ve stayed in, which could be disappointing for some but at least you know what you get, We usually do adult only. So kids unsupervised at meals was an issue as the put touched food back and dip and lick at the chocolate fountain. That’s a parent issue not the hotel. We didn’t feel the night atmosphere was as good as riu Karamboa. But I think this is due to the stages being away from seated areas at night. We can’t comment on entertainment. Pool lovely and beach. Not too rowdy. Very clean. Good range of food in buffet. Didn’t use special restaurants as we had varied dietary needs. Only comment buffet gets very busy early on especially on the Friday. I would stay again, especially if they had cider and a Malibu on the drinks. Staff all ways lovely and near town.

We went to CV for a weeks sun and relaxation. The Riu Palace far exceeded our expectations. Great location, fantastic food Super entertainment and friendly staff.The place is huge, and we liked that. You can easily get your steps in! Only suggestion I would make is to illuminate the signs pointing to the various accoodation blocks. They are hard to see at night and new arrivals can easily get lost!

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Me and my son went all inclusive. Great choice of food but was all cheap cuts of meat. The drinks too was like it had all been watered down. Just such a shame the food was definitely one star for us. Would never go again.

We stayed here for a week at the end of February and on the whole we loved it , the staff are great work hard and are pleasant the drinks are great the only downside is the main buffet restaurant it is far too busy on a night I think 2 buffet restaurants would help
