Finca Cuipo

Our stay at Finca Cuipo was truly wonderful — if you have the opportunity, go! The location and scenery is breathtaking, nestled within the jungly hills and overlooking the coast. Secluded and tranquil but still within easy distance of all the local attractions. Fiona and Helmut are warm and attentive hosts, going far beyond the norm to ensure your stay is everything you want it to be. They helped us understand the local area, how to get around, and what to do while we were staying there. The food served up at the Finca at breakfast and dinner was consistently delicious — we never went hungry. The room was very well-maintained and a perfect haven for us within the spectacular hills. Altogether an unforgettable stay ❤️

Helmet and Fiona were excellent hosts and have a beautiful and peaceful space. Amazing views and delicious meals. There are plenty of outdoor adventures to experience and they gave us detailed recommendations. Would love to visit again.

The most amazing place to stay! We had originally booked for 2 nights and i had to extend for one more night.... could not bare to leave! It really is a total gem. The most breathe taking views all round. Each cabin, is beautifully thought out and the outside shower is a must. The pictures do not do it real justice! Fiona and Helmut, are just the most perfect hosts ever! Helmut is the chef ( amongst many other hats he wears) he is a great cook and we enjoyed every evening meal he prepared for us. As hosts, they could not of been more helpful if they tried. I would recommend anyone to go a stay, even for just one night ( you will want to stay for longer) the most beautiful place i stayed in, in the whole of Colombia.

This is just a paradise! Being in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature, exotic birds flying around in a peaceful setting, is just spectacular! Perfect place to disconnect from the world and experience a magic connection with nature. Helmut and Fio are super hosts! Very kind and always willing to tell amazing stories about the life in Colombia. Can't wait to return!

The most beautiful thing about our stay was meeting this beautiful family who has worked so hard to have an incredible and eco-friendly place. It was very inspiring learning from them and how with so much effort they have an environmentally sustainable place. The photos do not do justice to the peace and tranquility that you feel at Finca Cuipo. Helmut, Fiona and Kelly were phenomenal hosts and made us feel right at home, very accommodating and attentive to any need. Helmut is an incredible chef, all the food was delicious.The cabins are great and have everything you need to connect with nature, you are in the middle of the Sierra Nevada enjoying a beautiful view of the Caribbean Ocean. It’s outstanding!

It was an unforgettably special experience staying at Finca Cuipo with Helmut and Fiona as Hosts. They are by far, the most attentive, friendly, and helpful Hosts I've had on Airbnb, and treated me and my partner like family the 3 nights we stayed there. After a full day of hiking and beach-hopping along the coast, we were overjoyed to arrive at this tranquil refuge. A few steps away from the main home where the Hosts live and the common pool area, our cozy private cabin was nestled in the mountain with views of the Caribbean sea. The outdoor shower and the private patio with a hammock were spectacular. The breakfast (included) and dinners were delicious, and since we were celebrating our anniversary during our stay, Fiona and Helmut surprised us with a special treat during dinner and flowers in our room. They made it easy for us to arrange transportation to and from Santa Marta and to the local area. They are wonderful people and we felt lucky to have stayed here. Hope to return soon!
