Palm Motel

The place was clean and quiet. My room was very comfortable and well appointed. The management was courteous and attentive. I did have some initial concern over the shared bathroom/shower format having never experienced that before. My stay was for only one night but at no time was anyone else in the bathroom when I was.

This place looks halfway decent outside but it's a false facade. It is terribly run... You cannot ever find someone at the front desk. OF A MOTEL! There are large periods of the day where you cannot find anyone. I needed to modify my reservation due to family issues and no one was at the front desk from 11am to 1pm. Seems like a time you might want some front desk staff. The rooms were atrocious. There was only one old, dirty, flat pillow on the bed. The outlets were all used by room appliances (fan, fridge, etc.). But the biggest issue was the noise. Construction sounds, sounds from the gas station next door, other residents BLARING music at 7am on a Saturday or having very loud alone time. Just miserable and unaccommodating and wish I could have my money back. I paid $150 a night NOT to stay here, because I had no choice since they don't have staff.

The place is charming with its Greek/ beachy vibe. We loved it....Spiro accomodated our early arrival which was very much appreciated! This was one of the cheapest places we found that was not in a sketchy neighbourhood while being close to the beach/ pier. The rooms were good for what we needed and they had a fridge. Would happily stay again!

Für den Preis von $172 pro Nacht kann man mehr erwarten. Klima geht nicht. Das Bad fällt fast auseinander.. Handtücher nicht wirklich sauber usw.. Charmant von aussen aber das ist auch alles. Check in unkompliziert mit einem USAF Veteran der recht gesprächig ist.
