The Hibiscus is a peaceful oasis on 30A. Quiet, clean and convenient to walk to restaurants or bike to seaside.The rooms are homey and comfortable. The walk to the beach is beautiful. The breakfast is very good. We cannot wait to return soon.

Great Ending We stayed here at the end of my birthday beach trip and it was a good ending. We got a good rate as a walk-in and it is in walking distance of everything but also has shuttle if you prefer to ride. The room was clean with extra amenities like microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was unique and outstanding. The staff was friendly and we look forward to another visit.

The Hibiscus Guesthouse (B&B) is everything you need and nothing you don’t! The accommodations are simple (have an old Florida feel), room clean, gardens beautiful, and an ideal spot. It is just around the corner from Grayton Beach State Park - a must visit - and close to Destin if you prefer that area. Breakfast is always delicious and healthy. We just returned from our third visit to the Hibiscus Guesthouse with our first stay almost 15 years ago. I hope more of the natural area (as the state park sign says, the "real Florida") can be saved and not all developed. We saw a sea turtle nest and learned about the Florida black bear. I highly recommend it and this amazing area!

Everything was as it always is when we visit. Check in is easy, the bed was comfortable, my daughter said the hideaway bed was comfy too. The coffee and food at the Raw and Juicy cafe was good. I will say that I miss the “wonderful waffle” hibiscus served when it owned the cafe. The bathroom in the room was huge. The tub was a bit awkward to get in and out of due to the height of the sides on the claw foot tub. The amenities in the room were more than sufficient for our 5 day stay. They provided beach towels which helped save us on having to pack some. The tram that takes you to Grayton Beach stops right in from of hibiscus and takes you down near the beach access. We love how hibiscus still has the old Florida beach feel to it. It’s an environment that makes you feel relaxed and like you are truly on vacation. Thank you Hibiscus for another amazing trip! Hope to see you guys next year.

Hibiscus is a relaxing, friendly place to stay! It is terrific when you have a little critter as part of the family as they have some pet-friendly rooms. There is a nice garden-like atmosphere! Breakfast is included, and there are healthy choices.

We have vacationed in Grayton Beach for 20 years. We have eaten in the cafe many times, but this was our first experience staying in the Hibiscus Guesthouse. It did not disappoint. The buildings and grounds are super charming and well-maintained. The room and bath were small, but clean with lots of character. The free breakfast in the cafe was a huge plus. Staff were helpful and delightful. And when was the last time you got a key instead of a keycard? Part of the old-school charm prevalent throughout the property.

Very relaxing getaway place, staff nice, rooms very good, breakfast delicious, grounds very inviting, things to do very close, bicycling on 30A, Wine Bar very close, Red Bar just down the road, and of course beautiful beaches around the corner!

This is a unique place that has been kept like it was in the 1950's. The Turner room where we stayed was very small and cramped. Closet and storage space was very limited. It was quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable. You could hear live music from AJ's bar and restaurant next door but that didn't affect our stay. The free breakfast at Raw& Juicy was great. We enjoyed the gardens and courtyard. The tram will pick you up and let you off at this location to take you to Grayton beach. We preferred the beach access at the nearby state park because it has restrooms. I did purchase som beautiful pearl earrings from Wendy Mignot jewelry store that was located directly below the Turner room before our departure. I would definitely stay here again, but would get a bigger room. The location was excellent.

Wonderful staff, great location and great breakfast. The backyard of love is a great place to relax. We have been vacationing here for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. We feel privileged and lucky each time we can come. Tons of food and drink options within walking distance!
