Holiday Inn Express Santa Rosa North

First time in this hotel, it is clean and spacious. The only downside is that there was a fire alarm went on around 10pm due to a drunk couple turning on the fire alarm. Then all of us need to go down to the hotel lobby and stayed over 15-20 mins for nothing.

Hot breakfast , clean and comfortable eating areas. Staff are very friendly and helpful, clean environment and rooms. Located in a small town with random homeless people on the street when you walk outside.

Changed policy, no locals allowed and they don't tell you until you check-in.

The hotel has been recently updated and everything is modern, sparkly new, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was on the smaller side but very clean with a nice bright white bathroom and roomy shower. Despite being close to 101 and having a family with little kids next door, we didn't hear any noise and slept well in a comfortable fresh bed. The breakfast was better than most free hotel breakfasts. We didn't get to take advantage of the pool but it was also clean and pleasant looking (and practically empty despite it being memorial day weekend). This is a solid, no-frills place to stay.

We were first booked into a room on the inner court yard side of the hotel, facing US 101. It was very noisy all night with the windows closed and blinds drawn shut. The next day we spoke to staff about changing rooms and they offered us another one on the inner side of the building. We said we wanted one on the front of the building facing Cleveland Ave. They were able to place us in one and it was wonderfully quiet even though it was next to the elevator. The staff said anyone who has stayed there before always request a room on the front. The rooms are small. The breakfast is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

New and Remodel Hotel. Under New Ownership and Management. The Holiday Inn Express on Cleveland Avenue is the place to stay when visiting Santa Rosa. I would like recommend this hotel to all my friends.

This hotel is right off the highway, but close to everything needed in Santa Rosa. We stayed here because they were near the Schultz Museum. (Side bar: If you haven't been there, you really need to go!). We got there a little earlier than check in and our room wasn't ready, but the desk clerk, checked us in anyway and suggested that we give her a half hour to get our room ready. I thought that was pretty nice. The room was large and comfortable (we had a king room). Breakfast was nothing special. We were on the pool side, so it was probably quieter than those who were on the highway side. The only issue with being on the pool side was that there were lights in the courtyard that remained lit all night so it seemed that it was lighter outside than it was. Threw off my sleep pattern. Other than that I recommend it to anyone. We're members of the Museum, so we'll definitely stay here again.
