Aqua Hotel Montagut Suites

We stayed here the first week of June 2025. Recently the hotel has been refurbished, and consists of suites. We had a junior suite which had a decent amount of space, a large shower with separate toilet. There was a washbasin with large mirror and surrounding surface with shelfs underneath where you can find large towels and a hairdryer. There was a hot drinks making area with a fridge underneath. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy. The food was very good all week with different selections at lunch and dinner daily. All of the staff were very good, nice and friendly. The bar staff team were a great bunch of guys especially Gérard who remembered my name and what I was regularly drinking. The pool is a reasonable size for the hotel and the surrounding area is very nice. There is a gym and spa area but I didn't get to use these. I did have a quick look at the gym and would be suitable for most for a holiday workout. The hotel is located approximately 150yrds from a wide, long beach. 15 minutes walk from the train station and close to shops and bars. Would definitely recommend this hotel and if we go back to the same area, we would be happy to stay here again.

Just come back from this hotel in June. Firstly the pool area grounds are really nice surrounded by fauna. The hotel itself having being refurbished , throughout the place is clean and decor is tastefully decorated. Never had to wait for the lifts which is good. The rooms are large and again tastefully furnished with a large double bed comfy memory foam mattress and soft pillows. Rooms cleaned daily. Was entertaining to watch the swallows building nests outside the room and feeding the young so graceful. The staff throughout were warm and welcoming from reception through to dining and barstaff, nothing was ever a problem. We had all inclusive , the food was in our opinion average , a fair selection to choose from but nothing outstanding, one night they had lamb chops on, it was just bones with a little fat on no meat at all, quite laughable. The downside for us was the traffic and local bar noise in the street outside till 3am most nights. The main road runs right past the hotel so you have all manner of traffic going past constantly, part of the holiday is to sit on the veranda on a night but the noise was overbearing as well as the noise from the bars so much so you had to keep the patio doors closed. We were on the 4th floor, it must have been really bad lower down.Seems odd number rooms face outside we were 415. Ask for a pool room view on arrival it will make a difference. To sum up a really friendly clean hotel ,but on the noise basis we won't be returning.

Positives Lovely clean spacious room Excellent staff in all areas, especially in bar & restaurant. Great all inclusive drinks menu which included all cocktails, many branded spirits and beers plus bottles of wine. Free unlimited bottled water Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds . Good location for beach and train station Negatives Food nothing special, have had much better in lower star hotels Room at front noisy until early hours due to nearby bars.

A fantastic holiday experience. Great hotel with excellent service. Room excellent and well maintained. Food great for all inclusive (maybe one or two more choices would help). Drinks did the job for us. Great entertainment. The pool area well maintained and plenty of sun loungers.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff. Suites are really big and have a modern decor. Minor improvement could get the addition of a box of tissues and a shower cap in the bathroom. Good variety at breakfast and evening meal. No fighting for subbed a d no screaming children! Just peace and relaxation. Would return.

First the staff, Brilliant the whole bunch of them, friendly, help full, seems unfair to single anyone out, Daniel cheers for your help, the lovely Christina at the Spa, the bar staff the restaurant team all great. Our 5th floor room was large, with huge comfy double bed. pool view rooms get the most sun, probably quieter than the street facing rooms, though balcony door shut you dont hear much from the street below. the spa is very nice though 10 euro for an hour. I would highly recommend a massage if thats your thing. Pool and gardens all nicely kept, lovely sun trap. We were half board, you can swap evening meal for lunch,just turn up, no fuss. my only gripe with the food would be it wasnt always hot think that was down to the hot plates, not the cooking. decent amount to choose from. the hotel is in a good location just off the main drag. A lovely, clean, friendly adults only hotel. while your out and about i can recommend "The Drunken Duck" also just off the main drag. Thanks again to you all at the Breeze.
