Voreina Gallery Suites

We had such a lovely stay at Voriena Gallery Suites for our anniversary. We stayed in the Junior Suite with Jacuzzi and it was perfect for a romantic trip. The suite was really clean, comfortable, and quiet - we felt completely relaxed the whole time. The jacuzzi was a real highlight. We used it every evening, and the view from our window across the island was beautiful. The staff were amazing throughout - super friendly and helpful. They organised all our transfers (including free airport pick-up and drop-off), helped us book restaurants and excursions, and even left us wine and champagne in the room for our anniversary, which was a really thoughtful touch. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning and it was honestly one of the best parts of the day. We also appreciated being able to use the pool attached to another suite for a couple of days, since ours didn’t have one. Pyrgos itself is such a nice little town – peaceful but with great restaurants. We loved Kantouni so much we went twice, and also visited Mia’s in Oia and a lovely wine bar in Imerovigli. All in all, it was a really special trip and we’d definitely go back.

We were due to travel to this hotel in August this year. To be honest the suites themselves are lovely (we have visited before). The reason however I've left 2 stars is due to the lack of compassion of the owners/staff. My son has recently been diagnosed with a terminal cancer and given just a few months to live. We therefore mentioned this to the hotel however they have refused to provide a refund. To be honest, this is fair enough as the booking was non-refundable. However in such circumstances I would have thought they would have made an exception (we have doctor's letters etc. to prove the diagnosis). I think what we were more shocked about was the fact that the hotel are charging an additional 300 euros cancellation fee- what is this fee for? Surely it's less work for the hotel when we're not even attending now. This is very stressful as we are also having to pay for my son's treatment and another worry we really didn't need. For this reason, we won't be visiting this hotel again.

In summary, perfect location, amazing place with gorgeous and breathtaking view and private infinity pool and great customer service. The owner Lef and his staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Talk to them before any planning. Lef can give you excellent advice in case you are interested in ancient history within the island. In case of staying more than 2 days, rent a car to save money and the rental car company brings the car to Voreina free of charge and picks it up there as well. Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged by them. Our upper-level suit was spacious with all necessary amenities with great view of the island. Excellent shower room with great view. Complimentary breakfast was amazing and individually prepared to our liking and was served in our suit. The distance to Fira is around 10-15 minutes' drive, and being a bit far from all busy areas is an advantage for this place. You don't need to go to Fira to see traditional blue and white houses with authentic vibe. Just within walking distance, you will find yourself in the heart of beautiful and charming Pyrgos with many gorgeous views including sunset, photoshoot locations and excellent restaurants.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The room was excellent with a wonderful view. The staff was incredibly helpful and we loved having breakfast brought to our room every morning. The location was perfect and away from all the commotion. Would highly recommend.

We came here many years ago on our first splurge vacation and were absolutely wowed. We finally returned after traveling to many other places, and this visit confirmed that this is our favorite hotel in the world. Voreina has gorgeous, comfortable suites and incredible views. All of the staff members are so friendly and helpful, and we loved having breakfast brought to us on the balcony. Pyrgos is a charming village with many dining options. We went to Oia, planning to stay for the day, but happily returned to Pyrgos after an hour. This is the place to stay in Santorini. We will not wait so long to return!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful hotel. This was our second time staying there and we loved everything about it! They go above and beyond to help you with transportation, reservations and anything else you need. It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff/owner, great breakfast and sparkling clean pool. We hope to visit again soon!
