White Pearl Villas

White Pearl Villas was wonderful! As we arrived, we were proactively greeted by a member of the staff. He attended to our baggage and walked us down to the Aqua Villa Dream room. The room wasn’t on the highest part of Oia, but it was near a great terrace which had lawn chairs and which we used for photos. Our room has a personal terrace as well with a comfortable chair, but the view from there wasn’t the best. As we entered the room, we saw that we’d been given a complimentary bottle of wine as well as a bottle of water. The staff member gave us a quick tour of the room, which was interestingly shaped and carved into the cliff. It felt very unique and cozy. We had a smart television that we used for Netflix, as well as a refrigerator. The room also had a jacuzzi, though we didn’t use it as we were visiting in August and it was already quite warm outside. The plunge pool had a cool window that opened to the ocean, though. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was good quality with strong water pressure and consistent temperature. The staff added me on WhatsApp for easy communication which was GREAT. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets as well as a hollow headboard which was good for putting our phones and other things over night. Everything in the room was cleaned when we arrived. There was also a cleaning service when we were away during the day. The air conditioner was strong and there was a dehumidifier as well. There were plenty of towels and outlets, though we of course needed a converter for our American electronic devices. There was a coffee maker with easy to use pods, as well as 2 pairs of soft white slippers. We did not try the breakfast or the massage service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. My only wish is that the view directly from our room was a bit better, as the room is tucked into the mountainside. However, there were nice photo spots all around us, so we only had to take 20 steps to get a nice view of the sunrise or sunset in comfy chairs. If I return to Santorini, I will absolutely stay here again!

I don’t know if you can get better friendlier service at any other place than here. Maria was the most accommodating and sweet host. She met us as our driver drove up to the property. We were then introduced to Ali who hoisted two of our suitcases on his shoulders and carried our handbags down several extra steep flights of slippery stairs to our unit! Be sure to tip well! We stayed in Aurora Grace with an indoor plunge pool. It’s a very private unit where no one can see inside so we left our windows open to be able to always see the beautiful breathtaking scenery. There are many steps inside the unit and on the path from the main walkway. These units are all built into the caves in the cliffs so be prepared for steep stairs to access this whole resort area. Also, there’s a convenience store and coffee shop at the stop of the stairs. Restaurants, stores and the blue domes lookout are super close.
