Kamares Apartments

We arrived as guests, 7 nights later we left as friends. Kamares apartments is an absolute must for your stay in Santorini. We arrived to a very happy and helpful Edward, when seeing the apartments and our room we were blown away. The private hot tub, veranda and apartment was stunning and spotlessly clean. The first few evenings we were blessed with clear sunsets so decided to watch them from the hot tub with a few drinks.. Edward helped us order local food for delivery to eat as well. Every morning you are greeted by Ben, he is positively infectious, Ben brought us our breakfast order every morning to our veranda at any time we wanted, kept our hot tub clean and ready for us at any time. We had so many good chats with him and there was never a day that went by he didn’t ask what we were up to. Maria is the morning receptionist, she is brilliant as well, ask Maria for all the top local places to eat away from the bustle. Edward has good recommendations but be prepared to pay for them 😂😂 (he likes the Boujie side of life!) The cleaners are incredible we popped out for a run one morning by the time we got back the apartment had been done and to such a high standard. Kamares is a magical breathtaking place that blew us away but without a doubt Maria, Edward, Ben and the team make it a home away from home. They care so much about their guests and it shows in every interaction with them. The only improvement we could possibly think of is to have nespresso machines in the room (we told Edward this and he helped us order coffee deliveries!!) that’s just because we are coffee lovers and no fault of Kamares! In terms of Santorini, use the local buses to get around at 2euro a trip you can explore the whole island including your airport transfers every hour. The Fira bus station is just a couple of minutes from the accommodation. Listen to all the guys recommendations of things to do and you will have the best time. We would rate this a million stars if we could and would one million percent stay again!

We stayed in April which wasn’t too busy but as we left early May it was getting busier. We had a wonderful time. Santorini is absolutely stunning. We managed to get some sunset photos. Our apartment was beautiful we had our own hot tub which Ben looked after for us and kept the temperature good. He also brought our breakfast each morning and make sure we had all we needed. The other staff Edward and I think her name was Joy were also wonderful. We could not fault Kamares Apartments. Location was good for getting about but it was tucked out of the way when you wanted some peace.

Our family of four including two teenagers had a wonderful visit in early April. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the caldera is a memory we won’t soon forget. The service at Kamares Apartments was also excellent especially Ben who worked very hard to make sure the hot tub was clean, the sun umbrella was in place and that breakfast was delivered promptly. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again someday.

We have spent 10 unforgettable days at the Kamares apartments in Fira, for our Honeymoon. These apartments, and especially the view were breathtaking, but what made our stay amazing was the staff Edwart, Maria and we loved Ben and the cleaning lady her name was Leanne or Leah not sure but made our stay perfect. Breakfast is served everyday at your desired time on the balcony or in the apartment with lots to choose from. We loved the fact that the apartments are at just 5 minutes walking distance from the centre of Fira. There are supermarkets around the corner and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We have loved staying there and gutted to be leaving we will definitely be back.

We spent a week here at Kamares Apartments. It‘s a welcoming place with an amazingly nice staff. Friendly, helpful and always smiling. Given the location, it is an absolute overcrowded, touristy area. Here at Kamares we felt like being in an oasis of tranquility and relaxation. Only sometimes you could hear music from a restaurant further away. The view was absolutely amazing. Sitting on your own little Terrasse and watching the cruise ships come and go while enjoying a lovely breakfast in the morning was one of the highlights. We had rented a car and were able to park right at the entrance of the hotel. Another, not to be underestimated plus in this buzzy area. But the top highlight was our own little Jacuzzi well maintained by the staff with a view of the caldera. The rooms are simple and tastefully decorated. I can recommend this place 100%

My husband and I travelled around Europe on our honeymoon for 7 weeks and I can confidently say that Kamares Apartments was a highlight of our trip. The apartments are truly beautiful and offer such a stunning sunset view. Eddie and Maria are assets to Kamares Apartments and their service really made our stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. I would not hesitate to book here again and again. Thank you for an amazing stay and we look forward to coming back!
