We stayed as a couple at Athermi suites for 3 nights in May 2025. It was a really perfect stay. From arrival we noted it was a very peaceful hotel around 15 minutes in a taxi from the airport, located on the cliff edge. It was clear that the hotel was a small family run hotel and the couple who greeted us on arrival were truly at our disposal the whole time we stayed. Nothing was too much trouble, they directed us to local places to visit, gave us a map and printed off bus timetables. Nothing was too much trouble, We booked a room either private pool and terrace and indoor jacuzzi. It was beautiful overlooking the cliffs and the sea. We were right next to the main pool area but it was very quiet and we were not disturbed. I would 100% come back here it was a really peaceful break with a great team of staff looking after us. We were served breakfast each day with a smile and the food was great. We also ate in the restaurant twice which was truly fine dining. We caught the sunset both evenings which was an amazing bonus. Thank you Athermi Suites for your kind hospitality. We will be back.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Let me start with the staff they are so hard working and absolutely amazing, they work all day and are always smiling. As it's a little hotel, it becomes very personal and you become friends. The food was some of the best I've ever had, we did the romantic meal on the cliff and it was truly beautiful and breath taking. The chef came down at the end to see if we were happy etc and this was a lovely touch. The breakfast each morning was again lovely. The room was insane, the views are to die for. This hotel is about 10 mins from Fira which is more of a lively area and 20 from oia which is traditional Santorini. We visited oia early one morning as it really does get rammed with people taking photos etc, I would suggest staying outside of oia to have a truly relaxing break. 3 of my mates have already booked this hotel and one is talking about it for her honeymoon. We will struggle to find such a lovely hotel again with such amazing staff and we were sad to leave. We never normally return to the same place but we are already discussing it and maybe the possibility of hosting our wedding there. So much to say about this stunning hotel! We loved every aspect of what it offered! Nothing was too much trouble, breathtaking views, great location, delicious breakfast and food throughout the day. If you are looking for peace and tranquility then this is the place for you, we hope to return one day!

Athermi Suites is a great little family run business that does a good job at making people feel comfortable and welcomed. The views from our room were stunning and I can’t say enough about their on site restaurant. Breakfast was included daily. There were plenty of choices that could be chosen the night before and it was always ready in the morning. Now about dinner… we don’t normally eat dinner in the same place for three nights, but we did here. The food was delicious, the portions plentiful, and the service was great! While Athermi Suites is ‘out of the city’ it was easy to get to and not on the steep, crowded hillside of Oia.

We stayed at Athermi Suites for three nights and loved our experience! Small, very boutique style hotel fun by lovely family. The views are stellar and the restaurant is incredible. Our room was so adorable. The family even packed up a breakfast for us when we had a very early pick up. Such a very Greek experience!

Everything was perfect! The room was superb, the view of the sunset from our own balcony saved us from the crowds outside, and the location was just perfect! It was on the edge of the cliff facing the caldera itself. Our concierge, Spyros, went above and beyond and was very responsive to all our concerns and taught us some alternative places to go if we wanted to experience Santorini without the crowds. Food was also great! Would definitely book this hotel whenever we go to Santorini. :)

Would give this place more stars if I could. From the moment we booked to the moment we left everything was so good. After booking we received an email from Spyros asking when we would arrive. As check in closed at 21:00. I told him we were going to arrive at 23:30 and he said no problems at all. When we arrived we were checked in by the lovely Maria who gave us our breakfast form (you need to fill out a form for breakfast with what you want) room was amazing we stayed in a loft maisonette. The view out the room overlooked the caldera. In the morning we went down to breakfast and were greeted by the two ladies at the restaurant who were so lovely. Breakfast was delicious as well. Dinner is also delicious there as we ate there 2 nights of our stay. Spyros and Maria helped us with bus timetables and Spyros even write down what stop to get off at. He also recommended some restaurants for us to eat at. The room had a lovely view over the caldera and had everything to make us comfortable, even the shower has a view. Cannot rate this highly enough from the check in process to the room to the lovely ladies at the restaurant would 100% stay here again Thanks so much Maria and Spyros for your hospitality.

This is without doubt a hidden gem in Santorini. A small family run hotel which offers a first class service, excellent food and benefits from a truly remarkable setting. While the rest of Santorini struggle to get those perfect sunset moments this place has the best the island has to offer in such a private location. The staff are fantastic and go the extra mile everyday to ensure your stay is perfect, I would like to thank the whole team for making this the best holiday experience we have had. We can't recommend this place enough and it's somewhere we will visit again.

One of the most amazing and most relaxing hotels we’ve ever been to. A beautiful boutique family run hotel with breath taking views. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Each room is unique with a traditional but very comfortable style. Some lovely tavernas within walking distance but also a bus stop just 2 minutes walk away to get to Fira and Perissa for just 2 euros each. The staff here are lovely. Breakfast is cooked to order and amazing. We can’t thank them enough or recommend them enough.

Just returned from a wonderful stay. This is a family run business and as such you get that personal touch that makes you feel like a valued and welcomed special guest. The hotel is set in the most peaceful and stunning location perfect for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed sitting and sipping a cocktail looking out at the Aegean Sea and watching the sun go down. Magical! 15 mins into town, easy to jump into a taxi and enjoy the restaurants, bars and shops that Thira has to offer! We loved our short stay and hope to return one day! Must just mention the girl at the pool bar (sorry we didn’t get your name) who works tirelessly day and night and always with a smile on her face! Nothing was ever too much trouble! We had an amazing stay at Athermi. The design / construction of the buildings are unique, all staff made us feel extremely welcome and well taken care of, the food is next level and overall this is the best place to relax, see the sites and take in the view + sunset after sunset. The location was great if you want to be slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the main towns, with an easy car ride into town at any time of day. We look forward to returning again soon, thank you to the entire Athermi team.

We really loved our stay at Athermi Suites. The view from the pool was stunning and it was lovely to be away from the touristy towns in a quieter area of the island. Megalochori had a lovely taverna an easy walk away, and the food at Athermi was exceptional, both the wonderful breakfasts and also the dinners. The octopus was the best! The staff were lovely with a special mention to gorgeous Eri who made every meal delightful. We can highly recommend staying here for a beautiful and relaxing holiday.

My group had 3 rooms. Each was unique, very clean, with a great view. Prior to arriving the guide we had scheduled for a food tour cancelled. Spyros was so helpful and found us another one quickly! The food is so fresh and delicious - try the spicy feta!
