Santellini Hotel

Third time staying at this beautiful hotel and as usual, the whole Santellini team were fantastic. Certainly recommend staying at this hotel, location is great and staff are fabulous. We will certainly be returning in the near future. Gary & Kay

Fantastic hotel,friendly, clean and comfortable. Martha the owner is lovely and the staff are so friendly and welcoming especially Olga. They all went above and beyond to make our stay special, it really felt like from home to home, and so peaceful, can't recommend this hotel enough.

We have just got back from 10 nights at the Santellini Hotel in Kamari what can we say - we had an amazing time. This little hidden gem of a hotel is an oasis of calm but just a few yards from the beach and set amongst restaurants and shops. We received such a warm welcome on arrival. Mrs Martha the owner, the receptionists Evie and Olga are lovely people so friendly and along with the rest of the team work tirelessly looking after you. The hotel is immaculate and everywhere is cleaned every day by the wonderful housekeepers, our good sized room was kept spotless. The beds were very comfy, extra pillows and bedding if needed in the wardrobe, super shower and good sized fridge and safe. The French doors are double glazed and room was very quiet. Efficient air con was very quiet which is always a bonus. We had a room on the ground floor with a table and 2 chairs on the terrace, a small line to dry clothes. The breakfasts were varied, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, sausage along with Martha’s home made breads, cheese pie,rice pudding, croissants cakes and jams which were delicious. Suzanna quietly made sure everything was stocked up. Martha,Evie and Olga helped us plan any trips we wanted to book and advised us on travelling round the island on our own- we had so many questions and they were so patient!! They always took the time to speak to us, interested in our day and they remember all the guests names, felt like we became friends. So many good restaurants to choose from in Kamari, our favourite was Fistikies. We are so glad we chose to stay in Kamari at this wonderful hotel. My sister and I have just returned from our second stay at this fabulous hotel this time we brought our friend to see what a wonderful hotel the Santellini is, from the moment you arrive you are greeted with such friendly and welcoming members of staff in particular Olga & Evie who are always on hand if you have any questions about the area, and of course Martha who runs such a wonderful hotel, everything you need at breakfast including fresh bread Greek yogurt salad filter coffee and home made jams and cakes and I must mention Susanna who is always on hand to replenish the food. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard with fresh towels replaced daily. There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel for me it is simply the BEST!!

The beautiful Santellini is situated in the midst of the town but you wouldn't think it when you are inside . It is so peaceful and calm . Martha the owner and her lovely team .....Evie, Olga , the lady who helps with the breakfast and the cleaning ladies are so friendly and helpful. It's like being welcomed into a family. The breakfast ( especially Martha's homemade bread , cakes jams and marmalades ) is delicious . Plentiful and beautifully presented. It was our first visit to this idillic hotel and we fell in love with it . We are definitely returning . Thankyou so much for a wonderful , relaxing and fun week . Jan and Gary xx

We returned here after staying several years ago and it was just as good. Our lovely room was on the 2nd floor,it had a very comfortable bed, good sized fridge, free safe and air conditioning. WiFi was also excellent. Room was very clean, the maid was very thorough every day. Also had a nice balcony with clothes line overlooking the pool. Martha the owner greets everyone as you arrive at breakfast,she is very friendly and if you want to know anything ask her or Olga & Evie the excellent receptionists. Breakfast varied every day,usual cereals, ham cheeses, fruit,yogurt,bread,toaster etc as well as various things Martha makes each day like cheese pies, rice pudding,pancakes and her 6 home made jams, 4 of which are made with the fruits from her own garden. Also some days scrambled or fried eggs,bacon, sausage, baked beans etc. Plenty of juices plus tea or coffee. There is a bar with a terrace overlooking the pool that Evie or Olga serve you drinks or daytime snacks. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool or on the rooftop above the terrace. Good quality towels for the pool even provided by reception.Olga even arranged our transfers from the airport, which cost 25 euros each way. The beach at Kamari is only a 2 minute walk down the road,it is lined with restaurants and a few bars all along. About 5 minutes walk the other way up the hill opposite the football pitch is the bus stop where buses go to Fira every 1/2 hour, from where you can get another bus to anywhere on the island. Really enjoyed our 2nd stay on Santorini and this hotel really is the icing on the cake.
