Family owned and operated; friendly accommodating. Space is clean. Location is 5 min walk to the village and wine tastings. Quick access to the bus. Run across the street to watch the sunset. Need excursion help (check in with the family) they offer rental cars, boat tours along with other recommendations.

This is a lovely hotel reflecting the surrounding atmosphere and landscape. The rooms were sufficient enough for our mother -daughter trip - clean and attended to daily. We were on the sub floor with a small patio overlooking the pool and it was relaxing - please note we were right before the busy season - so I am sure when it's full it's a lot noisier.. The breakfast was continental, and could have used a bit more fruit but the hostess was pleasant and always helpful. The owners were very helpful in providing useful information and directions - we were in walking distance of the town center - which I highly recommend you tour - it was so quaint, artistic and reflective of the island The owner let us view his property across the street, where a new hotel will be built WOW , what a fabulous location with a breathtaking view - I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfortable, quiet , personable accommodation's

We stayed at the Hotel Star for 3 nights and had a great time. The sunsets just a few yards across the way are spectacular. And the view from the cliffside is really nice too. The hotel is nice, clean and cozy and even though we had a couple of bumps with the electricity in our room, it was no big deal and the staff was really helpful in trying to resolve it. The breakfast every morning was really good and comprehensive. The facility has a pool and nice views from the back porch areas that each room had in our case. The whole vibe at the hotel is create3d by the family that runs it and it is very welcoming. These people really do give Greek culture a good name and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate to go back. There are a couple of eateries within walking distance, as well as a bakery and a mom and pop store where one can get snacks and supplies.

If you want a hotel that is away from all the crowds, go here. The hotel is clean, staff is so friendly, nice outdoor area, and a beautiful pool. The owner and his son were so kind to us, helped us with anything we needed. Told us where to go and where not to go. Always had a big smile and made us feel so welcome. No bar, breakfast was very basic. We really enjoyed our stay here and if we come back, we will come back here. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel so welcome. Kathy and Barry

We had a very pleasent stay at this hôtel. Very very clean and service just fantastic. The owner and His son were very Nice. Breakfast was good and our coffre was served by the owner himself. We had a late check-out with no problem. Spent our time at the pool and rec'd a nice glass of wine compliments of the house.

What a fabulous experience! This is a wonderful owner operated hotel. Very clean throughout. Upon arrival we were greeted by Angelo, the owner, at the front desk. A lovely lady offered us juice, which was a nice touch after travelling. Our rooms were attractive, clean and comfortable. We spent one day at the sparkling pool. Easy walk to casual eateries and also fine dining. Lucas set us up with a full day excursion that included visiting an active local volcano, a boat ride, a swim in warm springs, lunch at an old pretty port and a beautiful sunset at Oia. If we had any questions about anything Lucas was right there to address whatever it was we needed. We enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the home made yogurt and preserves. I highly recommend Hotel Star.
