Just returned from a 4 night stay here and we had a wonderful time. Room was great. Lovely and clean. Staff were very hard working. Breakfast was basic but then I rarely eat breakfast. Lovely coffee. The bar snacks were really nice and every dish was great. Massive portions. Prices were good. We didn’t get picked up to go home until 8pm so we paid and extra €40 and kept our room for how ever long we needed so we could make full use of everything and have a shower before leaving. Well worth it. 10 min walk to the beach and main strip with ample restaurants and bars. Kings Bar laid on a romantic meal on the beach for my husband and I which was out of this world. Hotel is a mile away from the airport so you see planes going over and they can be loud but we didn’t hear anything from the room and if anything we enjoyed working out where they had come from! Only issue I could find was the sunbeds. You must be out there for latest 7am and able to sit with your sunbed or your towel can be removed. This happened once during the stay so they do actually do it. There isn’t enough for every guest, so be prepared! All in all a lovely break and we would definitely stay here again. We even got given 2 bottles of wine as gifts from the owners for staying! Thank you Hotel Alexander!

On arrival,we were one of the last to check in after late flight,and noticed the pool bar was still opened.was great as could dump suitcases into room and grab a few drinks… easy check in with very friendly staff.. we had room 75,immaculately clean but very old and tired,but typically Greek. I’ve never seen a bathroom so oddly shaped. Your feet are in the shower when sitting on toilet pan,weird angled.i have a disability and have crutches so found it difficult at first but got used to it.but wouldn’t recommend this room to someone with a disability.breakfast was fine,you could manage something each morning.overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday,never used pool as sunbeds (sunny side) were always took so we headed to beach every day.we loved the walk from hotel to main area and beach.good bus service also..people complain about aeroplane noise but it’s fine after a few days.. overall a lovely friendly Greek hotel with great staff. Would return and recommend.

Rooms are really basic,not even bedside drawers to put your underwear in.Breakfast is repetitive, not 1 change of any item all week,we actually went elsewhere for breakfast as after 3 days couldn't eat the same stuff.The only things that was edible was scrambled egg,toast and orange juice.Balcony was ok.

where to start ! from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff at the Alexandra hotel were warm and welcoming. this hotel is rated 2star, how i don't know. i have stayed in worse 5 star hotels !!!. The hotel food is lovely, try the Club sandwich. the cleanliness is on another level, staff are constantly cleaning, mopping and changing towels and bed linen it is spotless. we would like to say a massive thank you to Maria, Dina, Debbie & George for making our 2 week stay absolutely perfect, we will definitely come back.
