Tholos Resort

After lots and lots of research, I am so glad that I booked Tholos Resort! There are so many options in Santorini, but Tholos was the best of everything. We had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The location is fantastic...I much prefer Imerovigli to Oia for quietness and central location. And the view...wow! Breakfast was included in our rate, which was always a nice spread. The staff is super nice and friendly, one of the hosts helped us coordinate a car rental. Our nice superior suite with outdoor jacuzzi faced Skaros Rock and had an amazing view of the caldera. Sunsets every night were fantastic. Stop by the mini market and souvenir shop (Antonia Mini Market next to Dear Elie restaurant) and stock up on water, beer, wine, and snacks during your stay. We always enjoyed a bottle of wine in the jacuzzi, which was a nice (and hot) way to end the evening. I highly recommend Tholos Resort and would definitely go back! If you stay here, I recommend rental a car to explore different parts of Santorini because it's not just Oia and Fira. There are public and street parking around the area within a short walk.

Feel lucky to have had such a wonderful view of the Caldera from our hotel terrace. Beautiful way to watch the sunset. It was super quiet and peaceful unlike Fira and Oia which were mad busy with cruise tourists. The room was quirky with an indoor pool. It was cold but lovely contrast to the outside temperature. The electric meter ticked loudly but sorted with earplugs. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Totally recommend.

We were very happy with our stay at Tholos and we had read every review regarding stairs/steps. They are breathtaking but just take your time and if possible don’t leave the resort. We had a two bedroom (one is open plan) two bathroom with Hamam. We didn’t know how to use it so didn’t get use out of it. We did suggest a compendium or instructions for things put around the place. Or the phone ext to be stuck on the phone. Whilst they do tell you this number, it is easy to forget when you’re holidaying looking at the beautiful view. The hot tub wasn’t hot on our first day so they did increase the temperature and by day 2-3 it was perfect. The pool is an ice box but you have to get in just to say you had a swim in Santorini. You are very high up which was something I didn’t quite realise. However the view is spectacular. The staff organised a caldera cruise which was terrific. We had transfers organised through Tholos to and from the airport which was terrific. Enjoyed our stay at Tholos and would recommend it to others.

Amazing view! Excellent and very friendly staff! Very nice breakfast at your own private balcony. Swimming pool with a view to the magnificent Caldera. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended and hope to come back again soon

Excellence location with amazing views. Very good service. Lovely pool area with a good restaurant. Only down side really was that the rooms are showing a few signs of aging; but, having said that they, were spotlessly clean and still comfortable. Good value for money in $antorini!

The pics on line does not look like the actual room and decor shower is very incomfertable and hugly no door water allover the floor when showering to many steps in side of the room water leeking allover the floor aroud the bathroom from Ac .The TV is very small .Jacuzzi out side is a joke ! The room in general is very awckward and incomfertable. Breakfast is poor quality. AMAZING VIEW.
