InterContinental Sanya Resort recensioner

Not 5-star standard. Feel like they are trying to pinch every penny from you. Chose this hotel because they mentioned “rare snorkelling resources” I saw nothing but bleached corals sand and dead seaweed. Another thing they mentioned on their website is a free airport shuttle than runs twice a day which doesn’t exist. As tennis players we were excited for the court - turns out we have to pay $150 per hr for a very poorly maintained court (broken net with lots of cracks on the floor) with a bathroom that had a dead cockroach in it. Would like to mention that the staff that helped was nice enough to waive the fee for that hour after hearing our feedback. Check in was quite chaotic too! Our room was nice — just that the outdoor couch faces the room and not the sea view. Food was limited and over priced. Overall quite disappointed

Nice trip in Sanya.Hotel has an excellent location.Very close to tourist area.Staff are friendly and polite.Any request they try to help and find solution.Hotel area is big and many restaurants .Western foods available.There is buffet in the evening.Highly recommend for family vacation.

Service given by assigned butler Wendy was very good. She was very helpful in resolving our issues on the rooming and other needs Location - being a resort it’s pretty far from the scenic UNESCO sites we wish to visit as it takes between 40minutes to 90 minutes to reach there. Faculties/amenities are quite complete catering for all ages in terms of activities. Beach was beautiful view with white fine sand

Travelling china can often be hard because of the language barrier. On arrival Intercontinental provided the contact (who also proactively reached out) of “Bella”. She was PHENOMENAL and just consistently went above and beyond to help us navigate our time at the hotel and Sanya in general, going to far as to help us get in contact and organise some of our island activities that we were struggling with due to the language barrier. Bella was a star, and the hotel’s help in providing that service was greatly appreciated.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The staff is friendly and especially Bella was very nice and helpful during our stay. She was always available and helped us immediately. The eggs Benedict at the breakfast are my favorite. We will definitely come again.

My manager “ELLA” contacted me a day before I arrived. She asked me how I was doing even before I left, how I was doing, and even after I came home from the hotel. It is very supportive to have someone who is interested in and helps me in a strange place. While I was in the hotel, I was so comfortable and handled the inconvenient situation well. I was happy enough to want to go again. The hotel is clean overall and easy to connect to the beach. The children had a happy vacation. My friend and I rested well Everyone find "ELLA" here, it's going to be the best trip ever👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️

We booked a basic room at first, and when we arrive therw, Ella helped upgrade the room to a garden view room with outdoor recreation area! The original reservation did not include breakfast, but when I say I wanted to try the breakfast of this hotel, Ella was very enthusiastic to help us arrange it, thank you! She is sooo kind! 😊 The concierge helped us with our luggage from we got off the bus and guided us all the way to our rooms. More important, the room is really big, and the outdoor relaxation area and an open-air patio are also designed to be quite distinctive. The walls are high and secure, with no privacy concerns. indeed like the Internet said very holiday feeling! Anyway, I enjoy this experience, and thank you for the help of Ella. The next time, I will choose this hotel again.😊

Enjoyed my stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is decent with a good variety of options available. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds.

Our stay here was perfect in every way. The breakfasts and dinners are abundant, room immaculately clean, the staff helpful and friendly. Special thanks to our butler Dora who made our holiday unforgettable! The bay is a great place for swimming and snorkeling.

**Perfect Stay at Intercontinental Sanya** After many visits to Sanya, we chose the Intercontinental this time, and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The entire hotel environment, including the numerous pools, left an excellent impression. I especially want to highlight the outstanding service from Amanda and Belinda. They, along with the rest of the team, did everything to ensure we felt completely comfortable and relaxed. The Intercontinental Sanya will definitely be our preferred hotel for future stays. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful experience – we’ll gladly return!

Super hotel with wonderful facilities, great room and delicious food. The hotel is modern with a great beach and swimming pool. What a beautiful hotel with immaculate gardens and incredible service. Amber at reception made sure that our stay was extra special. Highly recommended this hotel.

The location of the hotel is amazing. We booked the room with the ocean view and didn't regret about it. The size of the room, the cleaness, the view were amazing. Breakfasts were incredible too with a huge amount of Western and Chinese food. The only 2 things whic we didn't like were that most of the staff don't speak English at all. And the second thing that our room was too far away from the elevator, we had to walk 200-250 meters. But I would recommend this hotel anyway.

An excellent hotel located on the shore in a beautiful bay. The number of people on the beach is very small, which allows you to enjoy a relaxing swim in the sea. Good service, there are staff who speak English, which is very rare, there is also an employee at the reception who speaks Russian and helps resolve issues. The room is cleaned twice a day, they bring water, clean towels, make the bed, and carefully arrange all hygiene items. The breakfasts are excellent, good choice, variety of fruits and even delicious coffee. The children were delighted with the children's club, every day they asked to go there to play, where you can leave the child to play on their own (but from a certain age). Every day we went to Dadonghai Bay, a taxi cost 12-15 ¥, the ride took 5-8 minutes. I can confidently recommend the hotel, guests will definitely be satisfied.
