Cleanliness 2/5 - The room was a bit more dated than the photos suggested and the hotel had a disused bar and roof terrace. The pool was very dirty and we didn't go in.
Location 4/5 - The location and the view are absolutely stunning. The beach is better than anything you will find in Wuzhizhou! But it is far from the entrance to the town and you have to walk or take the special bus, your taxi cannot enter the town.
Service 5/5 - The staff were very friendly and there is a free bus you can take which will take you to the entrance of the town.
Amenities 5/5 - Basic amenities were provided, bubble bath and toothbrushes also.

Not our first time to stay in this hotel. Kind and helpful staff, great location (1min away from the beach) yet our room was towards the streets so late night beach parties didn't bother us. Great food, decent prices and chill zone were great mix for our short vacation.

It is a great location, directly on the beach. The water is clear and relatively shallow, which is great for kids. Yes, it can be a bit loud in the evening, but it quiets down after midnight. The staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. There is no problem with foreigners checking in either.

Located on the beach, with very clean rooms and a spacious modern bathroom - couldn't ask for more at this price. The service was friendly and helpful. There was a laundry room available free of charge. The only drawback is that they don't have any breakfast option. We will stay here again if we return to Hou Hai.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. I asked for early check in and immediately when the room was ready they texted me to come. The view is amazing and the bed is comfortable. Room is big and also shower.
One thing thats i didn’t like is that when i entered the room there was a bad smell, but they came and put perfume to make it nicer.
But day after i woke up and again was a bad smell from the skewer.

The location of this guesthouse was stunning, overlooking Houhai bay, and really close to the main food street in the village. The children enjoyed walking straight out to the beach from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We forgot a charger and they immediately arranged to deliver it to our next hotel, no problem. The only downside was that the music in the evening was quite loud, although we were there during Spring festival so it might not be as noisy at other times in the year. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it!

The reception send me a message immediately warning me about the noise coming from the neighbouring beach bar. The music stopped a midnight, unfortunately the revellers continued singing!and shouting fir another hour and then the cats started their noise.
The hotel is fine, but getting a good rest is impossible.
