While this hotel offered a reasonably spacious room for my business trip, the overall experience was deeply disappointing and concerning due to significant housekeeping failures and poor service recovery.
The primary issue was unacceptable housekeeping standards. Upon entering my room after the initial cleaning, I was shocked to find disposable cleaning gloves left on the chair and a discarded robe. This immediately raised serious doubts about whether the room had been properly cleaned or sanitized at all. Finding items clearly belonging to housekeeping staff is a major hygiene red flag.
I promptly called the front desk. A staff member came to collect the gloves and robe and offered a brief, on-the-spot apology. However, that was the only response. No manager followed up, no explanation was ever provided regarding how such a fundamental breach of cleaning protocol occurred, and no reassurance was given about the room's actual cleanliness. This lack of accountability was troubling.
The service failure continued at checkout. When I mentioned the incident to the front desk staff, they appeared completely unaware of the situation, reinforcing the feeling that my concerns were dismissed and not taken seriously. The absence of any follow-through or communication from management after the initial incident demonstrated a distinctly indifferent and uncaring attitude.
While the room size was adequate, the facilities felt quite outdated and worn, adding to the overall negative impression.
