Very good experience during the stay here! The room with onsen is REAL onsen, which my family enjoys a lot!

The room is spacious and the location is super convenient as the bus stop just in front of the hotel, but the meal is just so so but not impressed. However the lounge is impressive with free drinks and dessert which also with massage chair, that is really the best part of the hotel.

I chose this hotel specifically for its private bath, only to discover that reservations must be made 2-3 months in advance via email/phone call. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus from Sapporo city, which typically takes about an hour, but you also need to book that at least a month in advance, according to various bloggers. It was quite disappointing not to enjoy the private bath experience and to have to arrange our own transportation from/back to the city. The frustrating part is that you wouldn’t know the advance booking requirement when you make a reservation through Trip.com or similar platforms. Here’s a rephrased version of your statement: I honestly find this quite unfair.

The onsen & food were superb !!

I highly recommend this hotel for its in-room onsen facilities and private lounge, which is accessible until 10 pm and offers coffee, sparkling drinks, (beer, sake-night time) and snack bites at different times. The package includes both dinner and breakfast, making it well worth it, especially if you visit during the non-peak season. The front door staff old uncle provided excellent service, greeting us with a smile even in the rain. During dinner service, a kind attendant old untie took the time to explain each item on the menu, making our experience even better.

Not service oriented... Sent an email to them 1 month in advance to book the shuttle bus, receive an email from them the day before check in... Pretty disappointed...

This hotel is perfect. Very comfortable and very beautiful decoration everywhere. Very traditional onsen and very good environment. Food served is well-prepared and very delicious.

Great place to chill. Even a lounge with Complimentary drinks and snacks. Recommended!

No flexibility for the dinner time. We have to have dinner very late.

Overall experience is good.

Everything with the hotel was 5*. From front desk, Ziggy to dinner waiter, Suzuki-san. And the onsen was great.
