The room is spacious and budget friendly! The staff are so nice. They have lunch buffet for 2,500 yen!

I love this hotel😍! It has a grand lobby, delicious buffet for breakfast, clean and spacious bedroom and good location. There is also small park outside where you can play and enjoy some snow fun activities. I can highly recommend Sapporo Excel Hotel, everything here is great 👍 👍

Strategic location hotel nearby train station and tram around 5 minutes walk. Bed very comfortable. There’s currency exchange at the lobby, changed my 20£ managed to get 3k plus Yen. Eatery walking distance as well and convenience store.

The hotel is grand and elegant. Location was good as it is only walking distance to Nakajima park and Susukino. However it is an old hotel albeit well maintained. First night I had an experience there is bed bug but they responded promptly and change to another room. Things were fine after that. This hotel will be better if they provide more amenities like Onsen for the price . Also they don’t allow check in to the system and leave my luggage before if it is before 3 pm. I can only leave my lugggage there before 3 pm. Regardless, it is a decent hotel .

Hotel was huge and was quietly location near /behind Susukino. Room has additional air cleaner. There’s one snow garden behind the hotel. Parent with kid can bring them there for a small snow party. After Susukino, is the city trade mark Sapporo Nika sign board You will never short of restaurants and night activities. The bad part is once a group of tourist arrival at the hotel. You might have to wait awhile before u can board the lift.

Hotel room was huge and very spacious by japanese standards. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and a full set of amenities was available for us to use. The massage chair was amazing especially after a full day worth of walking. And the free shuttle bus to Sapporo Station on our last day was very convenient and a life saver! Especially with our heavy luggage bags, it would have been troublesome to have to carry them down the subway stairs. So it really helped us alot! And please do book a space for the bus in advance. However, I wished staff service would have been better. Front desks was very helpful, but on our first night, we called for help in the night because we couldn’t find anyway to turn off the overhead light for the right side bed. When we asked for someone to come and help us eventually, the male staff who came sounded very irritated and unhappy. Don’t know if it was a wiring problem or some setting in the main room control panel, but there was NO WAY we could have figured it out ourselves. In fact, every morning at 7am, just that particular light on the right side bed would turn on automatically by itself and wake me up. I hope that the hotel can rectify that problem.

High value , good location and view excepted not have wash machine

Hotel is old but hygiene wise very well taken care of. Full of Asian tourists so a little bit noisy here and there but it’s not hotel’s fault. The bldg has four CVS and one supermarket at walking distance. Only drawback is they dont have coin laundry. Lounge only opens two hours a day ….. why even bother opening one?

Get everything needed for a short stay. Big room with 4 beds and only 10 mins away from the airport.

Good hotel with fantastic breakfast!  Also the shuttle bus service to the station was good. The location is fine, close to the park, but not too many restaurants near-by. Great choice anyways.

The cleanliness of the room and the view from the room were especially fabulous. My friends all enjoyed the spacious room.

A bit of a walk from Nakajimakoen subway station. Spacious room with sitting area. They did not have a luggage rack inside my room. They did not grant my request for a room on the upper floor with a view even if I stayed for three nights. About 1500 yen by taxi to or from Sapporo station. Take the taxi if you have heavy luggage.

Hotel is located 8 min walk from Metro station. Around many convenience shops. Overall it was a good stay. Room are very big considering the Japan standard. It was really come very comfortable stay. Would be happy to stay again.

I had a bad experience in Japan. The housekeeper threw my small knife, and when I asked the information desk, they said they would help me find it and let me know the next day, but they never did. So, I asked again, and they used a translator machine to say that the housekeeper didn't touch anything on the desk. No matter what I said, they kept repeating the same sentence (maybe due to poor English). This couldn't be true because a plastic cup on the table had been thrown away, meaning they had touched things on the table. Additionally, no one from the hotel apologized. I was so disappointed. Anyway, if you stay at this hotel, please make sure to lock everything in the safe, as the hotel will not take responsibility, and you won't receive any apologies.
