The good: -Beautiful reception area/breakfast area. Decor is lovely. -The rooms are very spacious and clean -The shower is powerful and holds its temperature well -The view from the rooftop pool is gorgeous -The rooftop pool area was lovely and clean and there were always beds available -Good selection of foods at breakfast buffet, all you could ask for- fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs, usually some forn of meat (sausage, bacon), cold meats, cheese, salad, bread. They do not charge extra for standard coffee. -Nice outdoor area to enjoy breakfast Reception staff friendly -Comfy bed -Peaceful inside the hotel -Good Air con in rooms -Pay no attention to previous reviews that say you can't take drinks and snacks in. It is a hotel rule, however staff did not once check bags or stop us entering the hotel with snacks/drinks -Lots of restaurants close by -Ice cream shop downstairs opens in evening and is lovely The not so good: -Hotel is not accessible. There are around 15 steps to get in and out of the hotel from street level. However, the whole of Sarande is not accessible- wouldn't recommend this location (hotel or town) for people with mobility issues. -Breakfast staff weren't always friendly and welcoming -No toaster at breakfast (though staff will toast bread for you if asked) -No tea/coffee making facilities in hotel room- this is mind boggling. Every single hotel I've ever been in provides this- its not good enough! -Most hotels give at least 1 bottle of complimentary water per day- not here! -Pool bar is no longer open, at all so if you want a drink you must go down to reception. There is no way to order a drink up to the pool. -Had a sea view room on 3rd floor, although lovely, view is Obstructed somewhat by trees and buildings -you probably wouldn't want to spend much time on the balcony anyway- traffic noise prevents any relaxation -Beach towels are past their best -There is no shade on rooftop, need umberellas! Just to note the date of this review is incorrect. We stayed in August 2023.

We spent two nights at The Glow Boutique Hotel during a rainy and windy weekend. Despite the weather, our stay was comfortable and warm, with stunning views through the large windows. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, dressed in crisp white linens. Our room was serviced daily, with fresh towels provided, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The owners are very involved in the operation of the hotel, which was evident throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the hotel’s omelette—it was the best I’ve had.

The hotel was amazing - so clean, everything was spotless. Location wise you can walk to restaurants or bars. Free parking under the hotel and staff were really accommodating. Pool is free to use (unsure on previously reviews saying it costs?) Breakfast was amazing. They also ironed your clothes for you free of charge.

Stayed at this property for three nights at the beginning of my two week holiday. It was perfect in every way - quaint, modern, clean, well located, peaceful and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. They brought drinks to the pool if requested and were attentive to guests. There were various items in the daily breakfast, such as breads, pastries, eggs, sausage, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, fruits etc. I highly recommend this place!

First impressions were “wow!!!” The foyer is stunning, very chic but also elegant. Our room was stunning, with a wrap around balcony so we could choose between a sea view or watching the world go by. The room was modern, very clean & just fitted out exquisitely. Breakfast was yummy with everything you’d expect, my treat each morning were the pancakes with Nutella. The bar was stocked up with all the favourites, really enjoyed having a drink foyers balcony. Most impressive though were the staff. They were so so welcoming, so friendly and it was a real pleasure chatting to them. Gloria runs reception & her proficiency was undeniable. She was super friendly, really helped us when we needed it and just went above and beyond to provide a perfect experience at this beautiful hotel. We enjoyed chatting to Riku at the bar most nights, his customer service was exceptional. Such a lovely lad and we wish him all his best in his career! He really added to our holiday! The young man who looks after reception at night was also super lovely and I’m sorry we didn’t catch his name! Please book this hotel, it’s worth every penny & would love to visit again!

It’s a new & modern hotel close to the beach. The lobby and bar area are very nice, just as the rest of the hotel. Easy parking in the basement. Our room was large and very clean, also very comfortable. The air conditioning was very efficient. Nice, large balcony with a side sea view which was beautiful. Unfortunately, our bathroom had this awful smell the whole time which was pretty annoying. Breakfast was pretty good but you pay 2.50€ for cappuccino. There’s a tiny library in the hotel. The pool area is small. It’s generally nice and comfortable but gets really busy quickly with not enough space for everyone. People also reserve sun beds and leave for hours. Note that it’s important to get pool towels 1st thing in the morning as they don’t seem to have enough for all guests. The private beach is disappointing, as it doesn’t have direct access to the sea (you go down the stairs onto another beach). The beaches in this area are very rocky so bring shoes. The service was ok. The main issue is that the employees are very, very young & inexperienced - and it shows. They do try and kind of do their job well but it really lacks professionalism and experience. Generally, the area is VERY touristic and everything nearby is excessively overpriced and of low quality. We asked for a taxi to town and were told by the staff that their partner taxi company charges 20€ for the 15 min ride. This price is ridiculous. While I liked the premises of the hotel, I felt the staff need more training and the hotel should offer more realistic services also via partners and not try & rip people off. The prices of the coffee, some drinks and the taxi via partner are really ridiculous but I guess these are the things that separate ok hotels from the great ones.
