A very nice mid range, well located hotel. Clean, modern design in an old building. Generous sized double room, comfortable bed, decent lighting and pleasant staff. Good breakfast by French standards. Could use wall hooks for traveler’s stuff (my pet peeve) and USB outlets. Our room on the first floor overlooked the Main Street, which was not noisy and hosted a great Saturday market. Paid private parking was pretty convenient and worth the 12 euro/day. We stayed four nights and had three days to explore the city and the surrounding area.

The room was perfect for one person, the bed comfortable and the duvet cover and pillow wonderful. The breakfast lounge was light and airy with floor to ceiling windows. Parking nearby From the hotel to the Caves at Lascaux was only a 30 minute drive

I chose this hotel for its excellent combination of location and price. The hotel is centrally located, but in a quiet center. By Sarla's standards, the hotel is not small - three floors. It's very cozy inside. Stylish design. Abstract paintings on the walls. The room has everything you need... Needless to say, it is very clean. In general, a great place to spend the night in Sarla la Caneda.

We stayed here because of the location, and we were not disappointed. A lovely young lady at the desk greeted us, gave us a map which she illustrated, explained the parking (up a steep hill- the parking is free). The hotel is very fashionably decorated. The rooms are nice size, and delightfully have many electrical outlets: by the bed, by the sink/mirror. The bath has newer, pretty fixtures, but the sink area is small, and the shower glass is open on one side, so it’s difficult to shower without drenching the sink are. The views out the window of room 28 are of old, charming roofs and windows. The windows open all the way, and that was appreciated for the fresh air. The breakfast is a little sparse, but what is there is good. Pretty pastries, cheeses, muesli.

Location is excellent, hotel was quiet and perfect for our short stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We found the bed was a bit hard. Price was very reasonable. Rooms aren't huge but have everything you need. There is a free parking lot a 4min walk to the hotel which is very handy.

The room was a box with a bed that was as hard as box spring! The only good point was the large bathroom however, the bathroom had a window to the front(street side) with a thin white cover that did not provide full privacy should I use the bathroom with the light on at night! Then they hardly left any toilet tissue or bath soap! It was a good thing we were only staying for one night! oh and be aware, the parking is a bit of a 5-6 min walk in some security pin garage. I will not stay here again!

While visiting Lascaux IV 25 minutes away we stayed one night. We had been to Les Eyzies to see Grotto Fond de Gaume yesterday. They are not far apart and easy to book tickets. Parking is not easy in Sarlat la Caneda. I will share the map to the free parking lot.

I have just returned from a three week cycling tour in France staying every night in a different hotel and the Naad Hotel is the best I have stayed in. Of course it is central to the lovely medieval part of Sarlat but what makes the hotel exceptional is the warmth, care and professionalism of the lady who owns it and her assistant. I arrived My room was delightful; the decor throughout the hotel a visual delight especially the lift. The owner is present in the breakfast room ensuring that everyone is cared for and supplied with what they need. And the hotel serves scrambled eggs made with eggs and not powder. I have only praise and thanks for this establishment and whole heartedly recommend it. Thank you. S. BIRKBECK

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of town. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Plentiful breakfast and overall the perfect place to stay in Sarlat. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
