The best hostel I have ever been. Location, atmosphere was fantastic. I was like in set of the classic American movie. Self checking is very convenient!

The Treehouse was a fun room for a visit! Really enjoyed the hammock for lounging and reading. The Inn is close to Forsyth Park for a beautiful walk and a picnic. Can take the dot city bus from a stop, very near the front of Isletta Inn, to the area near River St. for sightseeing and delicious dining spots.

The hotel is really nice, though a bit hard to find. Beautiful interior decorating, including our room: the Clark Gable. The best thing about the hotel is the location: easy walking distance to The Vault, Foxy Foxy, other eateries. Not far from the park. The main drawback for the Clark Gable room was the problem of air conditioning. The room has a room air conditioner which exhausts through a window. At night it is loud though the hotel owners thoughtfully provided ear plugs. But the problem is that even if you turn the AC down to 72%, it could not cool the room on a not very warm September night. Both my wife and I woke up early sweating because the room was too hot and muggy. Other guests say the temperature was great in the main building, so if we return we will get a room there.

A very unique living arrangement
Despite having a leak in the ceiling, my stay was phenomenal. The place looked immaculate, like living museum. The only thing that can make this hotel better is if late check-out were allowed.

The room (the screenwriter) was run-down and far from clean: stained blankets and curtains, thick dust under the bed, torn pillowcases full of holes, and even a dirty dishwasher. This is not what you’d expect from anything calling itself a “boutique” inn. I raised a complaint but received no timely reply — only a screenshot days later of an email I never got. Their “solution” (to check out immediately) was unrealistic given my broken foot and short stay. In the end they refused any partial refund and made no genuine effort to resolve the issue. Disappointing experience and misleading description.
The area is great though.

Awesome space. I stayed in the sacred tower and it was perfect. The rest of the house is decorated very beautifully and I felt safe. Would visit again :)

This little inn is full of personality. We stayed in the Grand Presidential Suite, which included a couple of marvelous balconies, one complete with a swing and fan. The bathroom was huge, as was the sitting room and walk-in closet. We loved the eclectic mix of furniture and decor as well as the old wind-up record player in the room. There are a few restaurants in the area, but you will need to drive for fine dining. Street parking behind the property was fairly easy but we did need to walk about 1/2 a block to get to the site. There is a communal kitchen and lots of opportunities for diy cooking. This place is a great deal for the price!

The place was nice, but it was incredibly hot (85+ degrees) in the house and unbearable to sleep. We messaged the host to turn down the ac, and at first they said they would but nothing ever happened. We tried messaging the host several times later that night and they would not respond. I would not recommend staying here.

Such a gem! We enjoyed our stay at this quaint Hotel very much and it's so much recommended! The walk to the center is roughly an hour, but only 10 min by car. Plus we loved the Starland distric and Midtown. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
