Thank you both for a wonderful evening, we hope to come back for 2 nights. This place is amazing, beautifully decorated and furnished, lovely food and wines. You could spend a week here and just look at the surroundings. We loved our room it was so spacious and such a comfortable bed, thank you again.

Last minute plans led to booking this chateau the morning of the day we needed it. The hosts were extremely accommodating, to the point where we were able to book our evening meal. Once seated at the table we were informed our main course was different to the other guests' due to our late booking. We booked the suite - fab room. Extremely spacious. Sumptuous roll top bath. Lovely warm building. A real "getaway from it all" treat. A great touch was eating with the other guests at the large dining table. Lots of lovely extra touches such as the games room and sitting room. Fabulous continental breakfast to set us on our way. Great job guys. We'll hopefully find a reason to pass your way again.

This is an extraordinary B&B, run by Robert & Jacques who are absolutely wonderful hosts. Our room "ETOILE" was more like a suite than a room and far surpassed our expectations. High quality luxury bedding and towels. The roll top bath was an added bonus and having a separate walk in shower was a dream. The whole place is filled with antiquities and gorgeous memorabilia and its a really warm and homely place. We opted for the table d'hotes and can honestly say it was of the best meals we have had, highly recommend the wine pairing option too. The hosts are so accomodating and obviously take great pride in their home. The breakfast was exceptional too. Everything catered was either locally sourced or homemade. We travel extensively with work and can honestly say that this is up there with the very best places we have ever stayed in. Thank you both for a wonderful experience.

We spent 4 nights here and had a wonderful time. Our hosts, Rob and Jacques were a delight! We were made to feel totally welcome and at home. Our suite was clean, comfortable and spacious. We ate every night with the other guests and met some truly lovely people. Rob's cooking is great and his choice of wines to accompany each course is impeccable. Jacques is a gracious and well informed host. There are so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. We loved it and fully intend to return.

L'accueil et les hôtes sont chaleureux. La table d'hôtes est excellente, le petit déjeuner gargantuesque, avec à chaque fois des produits locaux et de qualité. Le château est décoré de façon originale et convaincante. Le vaste parc, calme et reposant, invite à la flânerie. La suite Étoile est très agréable. Bref, vous l'aurez compris, on recommande !

Troisième passage au Château de Savennes et toujours, un plaisir... Les propriétaires sont toujours aussi sympathiques... On y mange toujours aussi bien... On y dort toujours dans le meilleur confort... Franchement, un coin perdu mais...qui se mérite et qui vaut largement le détour...

La demeure et l accueil de Jacques et Robert sont incroyables. Chambre immense décorée avec goût , vue magnifique sur le massif du Sancy, salle de bain immense avec sauna, grande baignoire douche à l italienne. Les propriétaires sont d une gentillesse rare. Ils proposent des produits du terroir aussi bien pour le dîner à la table d hôte que pour le petit déjeuner.. Ils connaissent personnellement leurs différents producteurs ( vins y compris ). Fantastique séjour...Nous reviendrons.

Nous avons réservé la suite Elite pour une halte sur le retour des vacances. Jacques et Robert, propriétaires des lieux, ont rénové avec gout, entre objets anciens et objets modernes, ils ont su redonner vie à cette belle demeure. La chambre était spacieuse et chaleureuse composée notamment d'une douche, d'une baignoire et d'un sauna (que nous n'avons pas essayé). Je vous conseille, si vous séjournez au Château de Savennes de réserver la table d'hôte. Robert, vous préparera des plats délicieux avec les produits locaux des environs. Les vins qui accompagneront les plats sauront ravir les amateurs et amatrices. C'est une adresse que nous conserverons car les prix sont abordables pour les prestations proposées et la région, à visiter. Nous avons également apprécié l'affichage de notre nom sur le tableau à l'accueil et le petit cadeau de départ pour la route. Des attentions qui sont un plus et plutôt rares en France.

Tout d'abord un grand merci à Jacques et Robert. Merci de nous accueillir dans leur demeure, très bien décorée entre ancien et moderne. L'âme de ce lieu chargé d'histoire a été conservée tout en ajoutant, avec beaucoup de goût, leur touche personnelle . La chambre est spacieuse, confortable, beaucoup de cachet. Robert nous a régalé avec sa cuisine délicieuse et inventive. Quelle passion, quelle générosité, gentillesse, poésie, Jacques et Robert des personnes vraiment extraordinaires qui ont su nous faire passer un séjour inoubliable.
