The house was formerly the garage of the famous Metropole Hotel in Whitby and was converted in 2020 into three-story accommodation comprising: - Open plan kitchen, diner and lounge with bifold doors opening to the terrace and garden area. Downstairs toilet. - A first-floor family bedroom with two single beds and a bifold door opening to a balcony with a view of the promenade and sea. - Family bathroom with toilet and shower. - The second-floor master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite with a toilet and shower. A bi-fold door opens to a balcony with views of the Whitby coastline and town. - Terrace and garden area at the front of the house with outdoor chairs and table and views of the sea. - The two private parking spaces at the front of the property are a rare find in Whitby. Having a charger for your electric vehicles is even rarer! The interior is influenced by retro design, mixing quirky vintage items with top-quality modern appliances. Luxurious white bedding and fluffy white towels are provided. The kitchen contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer (no charge for use), full-size dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (takes original pods), kettle, and toaster. Basic supplies of tea, coffee, condiments, oil, refuse bags, and dishwasher tablets—plenty of cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, baking dishes and oven trays. Tea towels and oven gloves are supplied. The lounge area has a comfortable corner sofa, a smart TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, and a DAB radio with a Bluetooth speaker for playing music from mobile devices. There is also a selection of books, games, guidebooks, and maps, as well as a coffee table. Shops and pubs are 5 minute's walk, and the beach is 1 minute's walk.
