Lovely place ideal quiet location not too far from the centre to walk either down the slopes and steps to the sea front or across bird cage walk bridge friendly host, very comfy bed delicious choice of breakfast served fast and hot free parking on the street outside highly recommended we would definitely stay again

Lovely hotel in a great location. Slept really well and the breakfast is lovely. The staff are helpful and hotel is clean and tidy. My Mum,s friend went to the Mansion House hotel to stay for overnight after seeing a show in the Scarborough Open Air Theatre and the hotel is very amazing it is perfect for kids and adults like me and it includes breakfast when getting up at about 8am in the morning when leaving the hotel room and I gave this place a 10/10 for the brillant overnight stay in the Mansion House Bed and Breakfast hotel in Scarborough

We stayed for 2 nights in a premier sea view room. The room had a fabulous view and we loved sitting with the provided binoculars watching the goings on in the bay. The room was well equipped with fridge, kettle and tea tray and hairdryer and spotlessly clean. We were happy to find a fan in the room as it was warm. Breakfast was lovely with so much choice. We both enjoyed a hot breakfast both mornings. Staff were nice and welcoming , nothing was any trouble. We will definitely be back to stay at the Mansion House!

Great place to stay! This hotel is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in , the cleaning team must be fastidious because it’s immaculate! Everything you could possibly need in your room has been thought of! Very comfortable bed! Staff all very friendly and helpful! Absolutely spot on ! Would highly recommend!

A lovely stay. On arrival we were given a complimentary glass of wine, very much appreciated after a 4 hour drive to get here. The location is fantastic, only a 20 minute walk into town and main front. Quite hilly but cable cars can take you up and down if needed. Lots of free parking on the road outside the hotel. Fabulous views across the sea, and over to Scarborough and the Castle. Can highly recommend room 17, on the top floor with sea views. Quite a few sets of stairs to get to. Room was clean and tidy, serviced each day. tea tray had everything you need on it. Breakfast was excellent. Only issue was the shower, temperature dropped in and out a little, and also power, this could be because we were on the top floor. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Looking forward to coming back.

Perfect location, very nice owners and the whole team, quiet, charming Victorian hotel, with a delicious breakfast, definitely worth recommending. I will definitely come back here. And what is most important for me They were kind enough to let me park my motorcycle in a newly renovated area ♥️

We spent a lovely time in Scarborough visiting friends and stayed 2 nights at the Mansion House. We enjoyed our stay and as other people have commented the breakfast was great and the choices available were amazing. We were also shown around most of the self catering apartments by the owner. All different and all fabulous. We are planning to possibly return next year but next time using one of the apartments. The location of the mansion house is ideal opposite the Italian gardens and views across the sea. We would definitely recommend a visit to the mansion house.

Comfortable and well appointed with various nice additional touches to make this a very enjoyable stay in the mahogany apartment. Quality breakfast and free prosecco plus extras like robes made for a likely return trip when next up this way.

From arrival to departure, Mark and his team could not have been more helpful! A lovely surprise on arrival to be upgraded to a lovely apartment. And hearty, tasty, breakfast options every day. The views from the apartment were fab and little touches such as binoculars available for use made all the difference.
