Hotel Zirngast

My family and I stayed at Zirngast summer 2023, booking 3 rooms. The instructions for key collections were clear, communication was good and we felt welcomed. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Location is excellent and easy parking. In a nutshell, a very happy stay! Thank you to Zirngast's management and team who create memorable stays for their guests!

Very nice, good qality hotel with a good price ratio. Elevator, nice bathroom and sauna, great breakfast and quiet rooms made it comfortable and overall a very pleasant experience. Close bus service and parking lot, center of town in walking distance.

This was our second time here and we will definitely be back! Spotlessly clean, incredibly friendly, cosy warm, ideal situation close to the centre but peaceful. Spacious room and bathroom. Super food, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff team are cheerful and so helpful. Good parking facilities and a meet and greet at the station. 100% recommend.

We stayed 7 nights with half-board and love this small hotel! Nice modern and renovated rooms (ask for a garden view room!), good breakfast (not luxurious but everything you need), very tasty and good value for money half-bord dinners (good quality food well presented, well balanced menues) and an impressive wine list (with focus on Austria) for this size of hotel. The location in the village is good (the nearby train track did not disturb us, the walk to the center of the village is short). The best thing is however the very friendly staff that makes you want to come back soon again!

Stayed here with a group of 30+ friends from 4-11th March 2023. I can honestly say nothing but a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. Located in a quiet part of town, the Hotel is a short 10minute walk to Planai station - and the bus is right outside if you have own ski equipment to carry to the slopes. 3 course dinner was EXCELLENT each night, great choices of wine to go with, in addition to a wide selection of schnapps, including their home made schnapps with pine. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of items - which starts at 07:30, which can be bit tight if you wanted to catch the 08:05 bus to the ski lift. Great sauna facilities for after a whole day of skiing - in addition to storage for boots & skis (even though I didn’t use as I had rental skiis from town) The rooms were clean, comfortable with wonderful views. Staff were friendly each morning and evening. I have to mention and appreciate how nice the beds were made each day but the room service - artistically 👍🏻👌🏻 (see photo) Bathrooms/shower was exactly what you need - no complaints. Happy to stay here again!

We enjoyed a 3 night stay with a group of fellow car nuts to enjoy the Ennstal Classic Motor event in July. The hotel was a delight ,just a short walk from the town centre and was so quite with stunning views and for us the benefit of plenty of parking. The hotel is of a medium size so the attention of staff was really wonderful from booking in to departure nothing was to much trouble for the friendly ,happy and wonderful staff. They made our stay a real pleasure . The rooms were all light and airy and well appointed. The communal areas were pleasant and comfortable and the food just excellent. I think we all wished we could have stayed longer. It is a great base for plenty of local trips as road access is very good also. Cannot recommend highly enough. Next time we visit Schladming we will plan to stay here.
