General store walking distance away featuring home cooked meals and souvenirs. Schroon is a short ride away featuring fine dinning , Dollar store, and a supermarket. 2 Kayaks /2 canoes on property for use. Propane gas grill for great outdoor cookouts. Firepit for evening campfires is provided. I do supply some wood. Hiking trails are located just up the block in Adirondack Park. Other trails are located on the west side of Schroon Lake. Cabin is available for rental all year around. Gore Mountain ski center is approx. 35-40 minutes travel by car. Driveway is paved and snow removal is provided all winter.
