Hotel zum Benediktiner is situated just halfway our holiday address in Carinthia and our home in the Netherlands. It is an ideal stop over for doing this journey in two days. The hotel is located in the quiet town of Schwarzach, a short distance from the A3 motorway. Free parking is offered and also a garage can be rented for a modest fee. Very friendly staff, good rooms and a tasty buffet breakfast. The hotel exudes a homely atmosphere. A tip for the best room. These are located on the second floor (yes, in the attic). These are spacious and very quiet. These rooms cost a bit more, but are worth the additional money. This hotel is to be recommended and earns a 4 point rating.

Quiet location near the monastery. The room we had was spacious and clean but in the middle of summer with no air conditioning it was very hot. Dinner is served just round the corner at their partner restaurant but breakfast is served in house. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Fine for a one night stay.

Schwarzach am Main is exactly halfway our annual holiday destination in Carinthia and home. As we have the luxury, as retired persons, to do the homeward journey in two days, Flair Hotel Zum Benediktiner is built exactly on the right spot. Furthermore, for a small fee individual garages are offered, so we can leave all our luggage in our small car, instead of lugging bags and suitcases into the hotel and loading the lot again in the car the next morning. Moreover, Hotel Zum Benediktiner is a no nonsense hotel with friendly and polite staff, spacious and clean rooms and a good buffet breakfast. Round the corner, opposite the monastery, is their restaurant, offering good food and cold beer. However, some improvements may be made by the management. The first improvement is a check on the beds; comfort of the beds can vary. The second improvement is causing the breakfast room to be ventilated better. Ventilation is still important even post-corona, but the breakfast room is very close with all the windows and the doors being shut the whole time. But adding up, a well deserved four point rating and we'll be back next holiday.

When on holiday and looking for a hotel to break a long car journey, the big question is what to do with the luggage in plain view in our small car. A hotel with a lift and available suitcase trolleys is helpful, but hotel Zum Benediktiner have individual garages available for a low rent, thus making the trek with a load of luggage to and from the room unnecessary. This is the additional benefit of the hotel, in addition of being precisely halfway our journey. But how about the hotel itself? It is a no nonsense hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms with a good bathroom. Fridge with mini bar is also part of the room equipment. A large parking lot is available for customers not in need of a garage. Round the corner is a nice restaurant, which is part of the hotel organization; the restaurant bill can be put on the room bill. Schwarzach is only a couple of kilometers from the A3 motorway, and a large Aral filling station half way is available to top up the tank, to be ready and prepared for the next leg of the journey. An ideal hotel for a stop over.

gemütliches Familienhotel, guter Service und ruhige, angenehme Atmosphäre - für einen Kurzurlaub zu empfehlen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut bestückt und ausreichend, auf zusätzliche Wünsche wird eingegangen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt !

Wir haben im Flair Hotel einen Hotelgutschein von Animod einglöst . Der Check in war freundlch und schnell. Uns wurde auch viel Info Material mitgegeben und Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen ausgesprochen. Zimmer war groß, gemütlich und sauber . Frühstücksbuffet nett und ausreichend . Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich . Von uns eine klare Weiterempfehlung .

Die ganze Atmosphäre im Haus ist sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich (bei Anreise, Abreise, beim Frühstück, gibt gerne Auskunft bei Fragen, )das Frühstücksbuffet ist lecker ... mein Mann und ich sind rundum zufrieden.

Die Betten sind bestens und auch das Badezimmer ist nach neustem Stand. Das Restaurant ist bestens. Frühstücksbuffet eher mittelmäßig von der Auswahl aber aufmerksame Bedienung Zusätzlich ein Kaffee- Teebereiter im Zimmer wäre empfehlenswert.

Machen auf unserer Reise zum Wörthersee immer Zwischenstation im Hotel Zum Benediktiner in Schwarzach. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer schön ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Auch hervorzuheben ist das nebenan liegende Gasthaus mit einem hervorragendem Essen. Es gefällt uns immer sehr gut und sind im nächsten Jahr wieder dort. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!
