What a delight it was to visit the home of Lyn and Peter for a three night return stay at their beautiful Bed & Breakfast located on the outskirts of Scone. Having stayed here numerous times over the last ten years plus, it was nice to catch up with Lyn and Peter again. They are great hosts who have run this Bed & Breakfast over many years and continue to do upgrades to their establishment for the pleasure of guests. We really like the sunsets and sunrises that occur over the surrounding hillsides and paddocks. It is a real photographic treat for guests to enjoy. The rooms are large and well appointed, including comfortable bed, dining table, lounge area, coffee and biscuits station, warm open fire and ensuite with spa bath. There is a nice private verandah for guests to enjoy the country views. Covered parking is available for guests. Continental breakfast is provided which includes cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices, toast varieties and jams together with tea or coffee. Hot breakfasts are available upon request, if required. We enjoyed our little getaway at Strathearn Park Lodge and wish Lyn and Peter all the very best for their future.

Beautifully appointed rooms. Gentle and elegant olde worlde country feel. Superbly spacious with complete privacy. I have to give 5 stars because it exceeded expectations, however, the breakfast was unremarkable - unless of course you are a fan of the typical English big breakfast, then you're on a winner! Peter, our host, was like a longtime friend and extremely helpful and kind. This place is his passion and the little touches, like lavender bubble bath and candles by the spa, say volumes about the care he takes. The heated indoor pool has skylights that let beautiful natural light flood in, and the grassy stretch between the pool room and dining room was perfect for a lazy morning. I highly recommend staying.

Enjoyed our 3 night retreat at Strathearn Lodge to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Room was beautifully appointed, luxury country style decor, warm, fluffy towels, cushions & beautifully warm. We had the open fire on one night which was lovely. Continental breakfasts were delicious & ample. A selection of cereals, trail mix, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, tea / french press coffee, toast, raisin toast & fresh local jams. Garden outlook from Room 1, superb view to watch the sunrise to see the valley come to life. Our hosts, Lyn & Peter (and Gayle) were warm, welcoming & extremely helpful. Alot of thought has been channelled into creating this beautiful retreat. Thank you. Will be recommending to our family & friends.

We stayed here in September and November 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious and very comfortable room and the delicious Continental breakfast. Lyn and Peter are first class hosts. Having a heated indoor poll just added to our very enjoyable experience.

We have been staying at the home of Lyn and Peter for just on a decade. Sometimes we stop overnight and sometimes we have 3 day mini-breaks. Over the last couple of years, we have not done any road trips due to Covid. How nice it was to catch up with Lyn and Peter in their beautiful Bed & Breakfast again, on this occasion overnight both going to our destination and returning from our destination. The property is immaculately presented for guests and has had some updating since our last visit. Lyn and Peter are great hosts and we always enjoy our return visits to Strathearn Park Lodge.

We had the worst nights sleep at Strathearn Park Lodge during our recent road trip. The bed was "very hard" and the room had an over powering odour, it was hard to describe at the time, but it made me feel ill. I have since found out that Strathearn Park Lodge is pet friendly, so I am now thinking the odour could have been in the carpet and was enhanced by the fireplace and the reverse cycle air conditioner, as the night was very cold. The lounge chair in the room was also uncomfortable, there were no springs or "give" in the seating, it was like sitting on a bench seat. A Continental Breakfast is available, the pot of tea was nice and hot as well as plentiful. Parking is under cover in a tin shed adjacent to the house. Stay very alert when looking for this place, it is located in a "100 km/h zone" on the New England Hwy from Scone to Mussellbrook as the Lodge is not readily seen from the Hwy at speed. Not even "Waze" was able to assist us. A sign 1 - 1.5kms prior would help to alert drivers.

Wonderful old fashioned guest house. The room was very large. Lovely and quiet location. Wonderful hosts. We only had one night as this great location. Wish it had been a longer stay. Highly recommended. We will definitely return. A great stopover.

I would give this place more than five stars if I could! Lynn, Peter (and Becky the dog) were so friendly and welcoming. A perfect place to stay. A lovely private garden and pet friendly as well. The room was so spacious, immaculately clean and all amenities were catered for. A spa in the bathroom (the scented candles were a lovely touch) warming wood fire in the lounge/dining room, (one in the bedroom as well). The only drawback was that I was only there for one night. It would be worth a trip back to Scone just to stay there again! So quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Absolute perfection and impossible to ask for more!

Really appreciated the spacious room with fireplace; spa; kitchenette; large bathroom; private terrace. So many thoughtful details by the owners that make this a wonderful escape from city living. Chill out with local wines listening to native birds and enjoy the serenity!
