This hotel is a hidden gem, it exceeded my expectations at every single turn. The room is beautiful, full of soft furnishings and details to include Yorkshire tea, fresh milk, quality bottled water, Molton Brown toiletries (even shampoo!), and every modern appliance you could wish to have to include a Bose wireless speaker! And the food in the restaurant - just wow. You know you are in a quality venue when you are offered high quality complimentary entrees. And the chef and owner Pietro out speaking to guests even during breakfast! You really must visit.

We chose to stay here whilst in the area for a family funeral. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was great and the coffee perfect. We ate in the restaurant both evenings. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the food was really good.

Wow wow and wow what an amazing place, our wedding was soooo good, I couldn’t fault one thing at all, from the meeting at the beginning with Jenna to the final day it was all totally seamless, the food was exceptional nothing was too much, all waiters/waitresses were sublime, a breakfast the next day was also amazing , this place is a diamond and totally worth a visit, so happy we get to start our life and have this place as a lovely place to keep coming back to for memories, thanks to all staff keep up the good work 🩷

I recently had my wedding here and what a beautiful venue and food. However, I have to say that the communication from the contact we used for the wedding was poor. It took a few attempts to actually get an appointment on a few occassions (my e mails going unanswered), then when I did get an appointment, said person didn't turn up as they forgot! I didn't get a personal apology for this which would of been polite. I have also sent an e mail to them since my wedding stating something I was unhappy with and advising on something simple that could of improved the issue and have still not received a response. (Issue was as I was saying my vows I could see straight past my husband through the glass in the doors and people in the restaurant were leaning over the tables watching us as well as waiters. It was slightly off putting and just a curtain or even paper up at the window would of been a simple solution. For such a high standard venue I would expect communication to of been much better!

The staff at this place are unreal, they make you feel welcome from the second you arrive, nothing is to much trouble, knowledgeable about the food, allergies and the wine 🍷 service is seamless and professional all done with smiles on their faces, the food is amazing, a true gem of a place, will definitely be back

Amazing clean rooms cater for every need attentive staff on reception. We popped to the restaurant for an afternoon drink and nibbles staff were great chef very attentive when they found out the website had not allowed us to book for evening they quickly rectified that, nothing was a bother. Food that evening out of this world both myself and my friend had starters and mains of seafood dishes….quality outstanding presentations michelin quality. The produce 5 star prices very reasonable. All staff we came into contact with were professional and well mannered.

Stayed for 1 nite and got here a bit early but was not a problem the room was very clean and tidy bed was very comfy pillows were spot on no noise from outside or didn’t hear any noise from other rooms 10/10 Went over to the restaurant food was amazing price of drinks was standard staff were great above and beyond to make our stay perfect we went to bath theatre and owner came over to talk to us and kept bar open until our return Breakfast was continental but plenty and again owner come over to talk The food was amazing top quality and was plentiful would definitely recommend and will be going back
