The location is secluded and peaceful. The building, rooms and grounds are a little old and crumbly but clean and green. The sounds of nature are amazing and awesome.
We were prepared for simple meals without much of a choice, having read reviews and understanding that the location has a part to play.
However, we did not expect the food to be bad. What made it worse was that when we gave feedback on my brother’s dish, which was especially hard, the server said he would talk to the chef, then came back with the receipt saying it is what we ordered. It was also interesting that when we were still hanging around after dinner, we indicated to the server (who was attentive) that we were done and that he could clear the dishes, sensing that he wanted to. He offered the information that yes the chef wants to go home!
There are no telephones in the room. The TV turned on by itself 3 times at night, disrupting our sleep.
Basically you are on your own if you need assistance at night.
The nice part of this stay is the horse riding stables. We had a nice chat with the very friendly trainer the next morning and had fun playing with the horses. If you want to try horse riding, the fees are additional.
All in all, I can’t rate this accom highly as we did not get proper rest (good, uninterrupted sleep is a basic expectation), food was not good with no accessible options, and service was nonchalant; almost laughable. Not worth what we paid.
However the place has a lovely proposition with its serenity and horses - I hope it does better.

Been going here since I was 8 years old and keep coming back! This time coming with my horse storm to do weekend getaways. We just spent a great 3D/2N trip over there and both enjoyed it immensely! Great, amazing and friendly staff who are always really helpful and the owners of the ranch have the best hospitality as always! Can’t wait to be back again soon and so happy to see this place getting back on its feet. Til the next trip down! ❤️

Upon arrival, check in was smooth. Staff there are super friendly. The food is superb! Never had such a perfectly done fries before. Not forgetting the yummy vegetables curry and lovely American breakfast. We also had a wonderful experience learning how to ride a horse! Memories to bring home with us. Many thanks to Azrin, Brian Yhee (Bonnie), Rosli, Halim (MJ), Yen, Chef Arnold, Maria and Yandi for making our stay a comfortable one

I chanced upon this gem while looking for a nearby staycation on Google Maps! It was a spectacular choice! Lucky for us, the family room was available upon arrival although we could only book a twin room online. We quickly grabbed the family room and it was very spacious. The room seems to be recently renovated. What awed us when we arrived is the grand mansion with lush green surroundings!!! The staff are all very accommodating and friendly. Meals are of decent quality. Pool is nothing to shout about as it is the size of a jacuzzi 😀. And of course, the visit is not complete without a stroll to the stables and also horse riding! Overall a fantastic location for family bonding where you can wind down and short getaway!
