I booked two standard rooms with balconies and views of the small lake in front of the property weeks in advance. I requested multiple times, via both emails and phone calls, for either connecting or adjacent rooms since one of the rooms was for my children, including my 9-year-old daughter, as the hotel didn't have rooms large enough to accommodate all four of us. Each time, I was assured that as an NH Titanium member, I would receive one of these options. We checked in two hours ago after a 7-hour flight, and to my surprise, the lady at the desk, who appeared to be a trainee, informed me that neither option was available. Consequently, I had to settle for two rooms separated by an apartment. Moreover, one of the rooms was noticeably smaller than the other, even though I paid for two large rooms. I was also disappointed to learn that there was no manager or supervisor available on the weekend to address my complaint. This is utterly unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be a 4-star property.
