Moulin de Flagy

Having visted the beautiful restaurant before - and being very impressed - we greatly looked forward to a re-visit but were very disappointed. We found the menu rather unexciting and the food very ordinary; I had as a main course a beef dish described as "facon orientale" which turned out to be a small portion of beef stew served with chickpeas. Is that "orientale"? The service was VERY slow - only two serving staff and clearly not enough - and the main courses we had were lukewarm at best - possibly having been kept waiting to be served out. We did not wait for coffee etc. after the meal - too slow. We won't be going again.

We booked the Hotel for one night as it was recommended. The hotel itself very quirky with a fantastic restaurant I would recommended the food. The rooms again different very basic accommodation and in our room very low beams with a very low shower There was no receptionist when we arrived we called out and phoned while in reception but ignored. Finally a charming chap came along and directed us to the room. The bathroom is small shower only any good if a child uses it. No cubicle or curtain to contain the spray. Being tall no good to me but with only the waitress around nobody to ask for help. Says no Wifi but it has it but only if your near reception Restaurant very nice, food was good. With 30 40 bottles of wine and a large menu. I appreciate we don't speak French (well tiny) there was nobody to explain anything so with a finger pointing we manged to have a meal So I would say French speakers only to get the best out of your stay. Left next day no idea who was who all very friendly if you could find them

Super soirée très bon repas accueillis au top merci à Stéphane et Sébastien une tuerie petit déjeuné très bien chambre à l'ancienne super décor dans tout le restaurent très agréables et calme je reviendrai avant ma retraite normalement mi avril

Très très bon accueil, du début jusqu'à la fin. Repas excellent. Pratiquement tout fait maison. Une soirée très agréable, dans un cadre très agréable. Je ne regrette absolument pas ce restaurant. Merci à toute l'équipe De la cuisine, en passant par les serveurs ainsi que le patron toute l'équipe est joviale. A faire sans hésitation dans un tarif raisonnable

Cadre authentique très agréable; nous y avons dîné le samedi du Week-end de l’Ascension. Nous avons choisi le menu à 28€. Seule l’entrée, la terrine de cerf nous a plu; quant à la blanquette de poulet, nous l’avons trouvée sèche; avec uniquement des blancs de poulet peu moelleux et peu de garniture de saison. Le dessert suggéré par la serveuse: glace au yaourt et ses fruits rouges nous a déçus: insipide, accompagné d’une seule framboise en guise de fruits rouges. Enfin le service de table a été beaucoup trop long.

Superbe endroit a ne pas rater si vous êtes dans le coin . Le restaurant est au top . Nous n avions pas réservé une table nous été dressé dans le jardin et tout le monde est aux petits soins . Les plats sont servis sous cloche donc a bonne température et tout est parfait . Comme il y avait plus de place dehors nous avons pu garer notre voiture rouge a l intérieur merci encore . Nous allons revenir et le faire découvrir a des amis .
