Hotel Antares

I have just returned from the best holiday in the snow I have ever had. Hotel Antares is a fabulous place to stay, with friendly and professional staff who work tirelessly to ensure that you have a fantastic stay. The restaurant staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. The 5 course menu was always delicious and staff were happy to accommodate you, with a variety of options if the menu wasn't to your taste. Nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was great too with a wide selection to choose from. After a days skiing or walking, hot soup, bread, a selection of meats and cake greet you in the bar, which is a warm welcome after being out in the cold. In the reception area, is a welcoming fire that I found to be a lovely place to sit and read a book. The spa and pool were great places to unwind. Outside of the bar area was a gorgeous fire pit surrounded by Christmas trees, it was magical. There are supermarkets very close by, along with a chemist and nice little gift shops. I definitely hope to return next winter, I loved every minute of my stay. Would definitely recommend a Winter break here in the beautiful Dolomites. Just WOW!

We stayed in this hotel July last week , it was an amazing experience. Their staff was so helpful made hotel room ready before check in time . They exchange emails on lot of questions before arrival. Their facility is really great , they have amazing breakfast buffet that has all healthy and bakery options. We had cold pressed juce with carrots, apple and zucchini and ginger. Their coffee was best. Their eggs, bread, pastries and cakes everything was so good. We really enjoyed our stay with amazing views. I really want to come back to this hotel again.

We had a fantastic stay at hotel Antares over Christmas which we booked through Inghams. Our room was one that has recently been refurbished, beautiful decor and lovely and warm. The hotel is situated a very short walk from Ciampioni cable car and the ski storage facilities are excellent - secure lockers and heated boot driers. The facilities are great - we used the spa, swimming pool and gym during our stay. The facial I had was wonderful and very good value compared to UK prices! The food was outstanding, 5 courses every night with vegetarian options and some flexibility if you wanted to double up on one course and not another. The quality of the food was exquisite and the Christmas Eve banquet was one of the best meals we have eaten. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating - we forgot a screwdriver to attach snowboard bindings so it was no trouble for them to source this. The bar was a lovely cosy spot to enjoy a drink and play some cards. All in all a magical stay for our Christmas break. Brilliant hotel, we will be back!

We booked a reservation at this hotel for three nights over christmas. Realizing that we would likely need another day we reached out to the hotel about cost to extend for one day. After some back and forth they gave us a quote to extend for one day and a drop dead date of midnight 8/31 to accept. On the evening of 8/31 I attempted to accept and was automatically notified the period had expired (i should have known it was midnight their time not mine). Subsequently I have reached out to them no less than 5 times to try to book the extra night and they continue to ignore me. So we have now cancelled the reservation and booked somewhere else for the 4 nights. .

My friends and I have been to Antares multiple times, and we are always incredibly satisfied. This time we appreciated the improved locker system and the always-perfect room service & cleaning, but also got disappointed with the restaurant. We have seen a clear decrease in restaurant service quality and a slight decline in food quality. Our waitresses and waiters had very low knowledge about the menu and even lower about wines. The food was good but not as amazing as on our last visit, 3 years ago.

Very friendly and helpful staff, always did there best to help us out. Loved them. Good and clean rooms. Location was prefect, Easy to walk to the lifts. The breakfast was very good and the dinner too. Good ski room with lockers. Loved the spa and the swimming pool. We where traveling 14 together, from 9 years old to 80. Very good hotel for us. Would definitely stay there again.
