IBB Hotel Palazzo Bettina Malta

Lovely hotel in a great spot. Tasty breakfast every morning. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we went out for food. Dora was the highlight of our stay, at this hotel, she manages the hotel and its guests so well. She’s lovely to talk to, very knowledgeable and will help with recommendations or any plans you want to make. The hotel is lucky to have her working there. I will definitely be back with my Mum as she will love it here.

I had the opportunity to stay at the AMAZING IBB Hotel Palazzo Bettina recently for just over a week with family and the well thought out accommodation choice did not disappoint. The building is steeped in history, charm, comfort and character. The location of the hotel in Birgu (Vittoriosa) was ideal. It was close enough to walk to historic landmarks and just a short ferry ride to Valletta. Furthermore, it has a rooftop pool and terrace with incredible views. We opted for a package that included freshly made breakfast. We appreciated the convenience and the made-to-order breakfast was always a nice start to the day. There is a gelato shop, Sottozero, located just outside of the hotel; it was visited daily. We appreciated it’s locale, its convenience and the yummy gelato that we consumed regularly throughout our stay. What really makes IBB Hotel Palazzo Bettina so special are the people that work there. The service was impeccable and exceeded all expectations. I was fortunate enough to have interactions with Dora, Roman, Alberto, Olivier (Ollie) and Romalyene. Each and every one of them, in their own way, touched our lives in a positive manner. They care about their guests and it shows in everything they do!!!! Dora is an absolute gem and deserves additional praise. She left a mark on my heart that will remain with me always. I feel incredibly blessed that we have crossed paths with such lovely people. They made the stay truly memorable and I would most definitely book with this incredible establishment in the future should I be fortunate enough to return to the beautiful island of Malta. Thank you ALL for making our stay top notch. We are forever grateful! ❤️

The hotel is beautiful and the team are exceptional. They offer a very personal service and attend to every detail. Perfectly located for a stroll around beautiful Birgu/Vittoriosa or along the Grand Harbour Marina and for quick and easy trips over to Valetta. Great local restaurants and a lovely roof top pool at the hotel to relax by for a lazy afternoon.

My friend and I spent four nights at this hotel. The staff were amazing! Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much. The room was lovely and clean. The rooftop pool and hot tub was the perfect way to relax after exploring most of the day. Breakfast was fab. Location was great, easy to get to get to Valletta by a small boat and from there you could get a ferry to Gozo. A wonderful experience, I would highly recommend. I will definitely be returning.

Well-kept, very nice hotel with a historical atmosphere. Beautiful roof terrace, friendly, attentive staff. Very clean house. Delicious breakfast. Right at the harbour. Quietly located and with lots of charm. Easily accessible by public transport

SUPERB from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. Honestly, try it! We had suite 101 which had a superb view of marina and church opposite and a lovely Juliet Balcony with a window you could open as a door - so a sun trap in the late afternoon. Bed huge and comfortable and room nicely decorated. Roof terrace and pool a real bonus...sun trap also. This hotel only has 13 rooms so book early! It's situation in Birgu was streets ahead of anywhere else in terms of calm. Must walk the terraced streets behind the hotel, lovely. Breakfast made to order, service fantastic from all the staff and just a really nice vibe about the place......99.999999 out of 100 from us. Explore the island by bus or ferry, literally 2 euro's per trip and the local boatman or ferry within a stones throw. Valletta is 10 mins by boat and avoiding the traffic! Would we go again.....you bet.
