Best location in between two subway stations that can take you to anywhere. The room is clean. Shilla stay is overall a good choice always.

The location is a business area but very close to bus stops, underground stations and other tourist attractions. There is a small gym with weights and cardio machines. The room is clean and the towels smell good but you need to pay a small charge if you open their toothbrush and toothpaste packs. We requested a higher floor and they provided that. Early check-in wasn’t possible but there is free luggage storage. Also, we forgot the stuff in the fridge when we checked out. They kept the stuff and we could pickup later. Nice service overall.

My friends and I always stay at Shilla Stay for its close proximity to Gongdeok Station! The rooms are small but big enough to open your luggage fully and there is a conveniently located 7-11 below the hotel.

silla stay hotel has a very good location in Seoul, very close the several metro stations, and there are very good Korean restaurants nearby. Really recommend it.

It is a very nice hotel near the metro station. The room was clean and quiet. Cleaning was done everyday.

The location of the hotel is great. It’s very close to Hongdae and Myeondong street and there is a subway station right next to the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful but the cleanliness of the rooms must be improved.

Great location, can easily walk to the underground, convenient stores, good restaurants and coffee shops. The reception was nice and her English is good. I am not very particular about hygiene but I found no issues with it.

Shilla Stay Mapo is strategically situated less than a 5-minute walk from Gongdeok Station / Mapo Station, providing easy access to public transportation. Additionally, popular attractions like Hongdae and Gyeongbokgung Palace are just a short drive away. 7-11 is just right next to hotel's 1/F back entrance, very convenient for emergency snack boost and water supply. Cons will be: bed is a bit too soft, not suitable for everyone.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are helpful. It locates next to the metro station with a 3 min walk. It is at a station on airport line.

With multiple 7-Eleven and CU convenience stores right beneath the hotel and a lively array of restaurants and entertainment spots nearby, the surrounding area is a definite highlight. However, the experience is dampened by the less-than-friendly attitude of the hotel staff. From check-in to daily interactions, the lack of warmth or greetings left a disappointing impression, especially for tourists. The rooms are also quite small, which may not suit those looking for spacious accommodations. While the convenience of the location is a strong point, the unfriendly service might make some guests think twice about returning.

Shilla Stay Mapo was a good find! Very near Gongdeok station which has many train lines serving to other parts of Seoul. Water pressure and temperature of the bath/shower was good and stable. There is a 7-11 right downstairs which is super convenient for late night runs😆 However the aircon is not cold despite setting at 18°C, with this I think it will be quite hot in summer. And I wish the hotel has a microwave for hotel guest to use. I will recommend it to others. 👍🏻

Very good location close to the subway and walkable to many popular restaurants in the area. You can also take the subway or the bus directly to both airports from here. Room and facilities are standard for a chain hotel, but the price during holiday time can be quite high.

Generally good location with clean rooms. However hotel was fully booked and when we asked for extra pillows they couldn't give us any. Toiletries given are limited. They charge for toothbrush and toothpaste.
