voco Seoul Myeongdong recensioner

This has been the hotel of my family’s choice since pre-Covid, when it was still known as T-mark Grand hotel. We always return because the location is perfect; away from the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong but yet close enough to walk to everything located there. Breakfast for two is yummy.

Booked the mountain view room, great view of the namsan tower. Hotel is very busy with a lot of guests. Door step, very convenient to line 4 and opp airport bus stop. Overall, great location.

I like the location of the hotel. There is direct airport bus 6001 from Incheon airport to hotel entrance. Boarding location platform 5B-2. Beside the hotel is 会贤站, Hoehyeon Station (line 4), exit 2 and walk straight for 2 mins. Opposite is 东大门 （Dongdaemun market) and walking distance to 明洞 (Myeongdon). Upon check out, I just pulled my luggage, turn right from hotel entrance and walk straight all the way to Seoul station (about 10mins walk). Surrounding has a lot restaurants. There is GS25 convenience store and cafeteria at hotel lobby. Easy to access. The room was clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

From the Incheon airport, you can take AREX and change to line 1 at Seoul Station. You can change to line 4 from Seoul station and get off at the next station, Hoehyeon station. You can go to exit 3. Unfortunately, there is no escalator, so if you have heavy luggage and things, you must go up the stairs yourself. Except for this drawback, the location was good, near Myeondong, and I also went to the Namsan cable car on foot. The welcoming and check-in process was easy. The breakfast selection was varied and a little bit crowded. Room cleaning is not satisfactory, cause the inside door area of my room was sticky and it remained for three consecutive days. The gym and pool were small. To sum up, I would love to stay again next time.

Had a great stay at Voco! Location is a little off but the hotel compensated for that because it is clean and tidy. The room size is just right for us and the shower was really good! Breakfast was superb, definitely get it with breakfast!

I had a wonderful and relaxing time at voco hotel with my mom.The rooms were clean and the location was excellent!Definitely will come back again.

We arrived hotel 10:30am as we took the midnight flight. Request for earlier check in, hotel staff very kindly allowed us to check in at the time. We are so appreciative of the hospitality! Everything about the hotel is great! Downstairs got 24hrs convenience store. Walk to Myeongdong only 5mins. MRT station just downstairs. Namdaemun market just opposite the hotel. The airport express bus just right across the street.

Great service even though it’s a high season. Staff at front desk are very helpful and informative. The hotel room and the hotel is in great condition. The room is excellent and clean. Room cleaning service is at top level. The swimming pool is well cleaned also. Breakfast is served with a good variety of cuisine. The position of the hotel is excellently convenient. The airport bus stop is just opposite the hotel, subway station exits are within 1 min walking. It just takes 10-15 mins walk to Myeongdong shopping area. The deal is exactly as prompted. Got mini bar refilled everyday. Can see Korea tower from room😍. Thank you for the great deal. Definitely will choose VOCCO Myeongdong next time.

Little bit disappointed with the promised upgrade. Turns out the room they upgraded to was smaller than the normal room. Had a few of my friends staying in the same hotel as we planned our trip together. Noticed our room at the corner was smaller and after reading the pass reviews.. it has happened before. They “upgraded” the floor but down sized the room. The photo u see is the room I stayed for 1 night (different from the website photos) before switching to another room. How unfortunate! Also I booked king sized bed but it was less than 1.7m in width. What standards are the king size bed for an international hotel brand like IHG. Having known I would have stayed at my regular hotel like the Mondrian. Facilities were basic.. service ok. But size of room for my first night was so small I couldn’t open my bag properly without blocking the walk way. Ruined my experience. Having to move in and out of my room. Only plus point is that it is a new hotel and super convenient- right beside the train station and airport bus stop. Will I come back.. not unless they promise not to mislead people.

Room is spacious and clean. Front desk staff are very friendly and polite. There is a 24-hr convenient store in the lobby. Airport bus stop and subway station are just locating by the entrance of the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Conveniently located next to train station. Nandaemun market is across the road. Walkable distance to myeongdong too. Newly renovated and rebranded so the room is quite new and clean. Hotel employees are polite and helpful when you ask the questions. Breakfast area is small so you need to squeeze in and the variety is not much and pretty standardized. Overall, I would totally stay again but will opt out for breakfast.

The breakfast has a good variety of food. the overall service was great too. It's at a central location and the airport bus stops right at the hotel's door step. Shopping is just a block away.

the shower curtain was smelly when we checked in and but thanks to the hotel staff who helped to replace it with a clean one. the room was rather small but good for two people. very convenient location and walkable to myeongdong, and close to duty free shops. you can find lots of eateries nearby. pleasant breakfast too. btw, please prepare your own dental kit as it's not provided due to government regulations.

Great location for a tourist. Steps away from the subway. Close enough to myeongdong but quiet at night. The room had a great view of Seoul tower as can be seen from the picture. Downside is that the room is expensive. But Seoul hotels are generally this expensive.
