Hotel the May Jongno

The location was very convenient as it’s 3-5mins walks to the subway station and surround by a lot of food area/convenience stores too. Rooms is just nice for 2 with a limited luggage space and the cleaning is base on request but still did a great job . Overall is a good stay.

If you’re looking for a location nearby city centre. I highly Recomended this place as it is just 3 mins walking to jongno 3 station exit 5 from line 5 train. It is only 15 mins from myeongdong and so many close by attraction like the bukchon village, gyeongbokgung palace, gwangjali market and more.

Great location with easy access to the subway, restaurants, and pochas in the Jongno area. It’s also within walking distance of Ikseondon. The room was very spacious, with separate toilet and shower areas, plus a bathtub. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay here! For a 3-star, self-service hotel, this was a great find. Location So convenient and close to pretty much everything on foot. Also very easy to get around with both buses and trains nearby. Bathroom Spacious, with great water pressure. The Japanese-style toilet was a nice plus! There’s no main door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, though, so just something to keep in mind if you’re sharing the room. Bedroom Spacious enough for two, with very comfortable beds and generous pillows. Having a mini fridge and kettle was also handy. The only downside was that there isn’t much cabinet/storage space. Breakfast Good enough to keep you going through the morning and definitely a worthwhile add-on. The pantry is in the basement and can feel a little stuffy, but the breakfast itself was perfectly fine. Housekeeping Housekeeping is on request, which actually works well if you’re out all day and don’t really need daily cleaning. That said, the overall cleanliness at check-in could be improved — the room was quite dusty, especially behind the TV and in some of the harder-to-reach crevices. Extra touches The ice maker, water refill station and unlimited coffee at reception are such smart additions — very convenient and genuinely useful. The airport transfer shuttle was also really helpful, especially for an early morning flight. The driver has their own card terminal, so payment was super easy and hassle-free. Overall: 8/10 Would definitely stay again. Great location, comfortable room and thoughtful self-service amenities. For a 3-star hotel, it really delivers.

The staff are very friendly and attentive to guest needs. They do their best to accommodate guests and ensure they are comfortable during their stay. The rooms are quite spacious and the beds are very comfortable. My favorite part about the hotel, however, was the location. As it's within walking distance to key areas in the city!

Bed was really comfy. Breakfast quite basic but sets you up for day. Bathroom could have had more space for toiletries etc. Location was fantastic right near metro so it was super easy to get around. Would recommend for location and price was good too. Room was clean.

Location is quite convenient but wouldn’t recommend for families with young kids given the pocha around with drunken crowds. They do daily basic room cleaning (change of towels, replenishing of water & coffee sache). They made our beds the first 2 days and subsequently only changed towels & water. we paid for 3 pax but towels, water & coffee only catered for 2 pax. you have to request for an additional towel daily at the reception area
