Time Travelers Relax - Hostel (Foreigners Only) recensioner

Literally the best hostel I’ve been in socially. The staff was very informative and fun. The accommodation was fine, really cozy common space. I found a little problem with the electricity socket near my bed. Nonetheless great experience overall.

The people were lovely but the room was not the best. The beds do not have any curtains and 8 people sharing one room proved to get quite stuffy. The bathroom and shower is okay. Overall it was a decent stay for a short period of time.

Very barebones accommodation. Bathrooms not connected to the bedroom, you have to walk through the main lobby. No proper place to put your clothes when showering, no hangers, no shelf no storage. It’s very warm trying to sleep and you are not allowed to open windows because of insects. Really not difficult to install screens on the windows please. Many people didn’t feel the need to flush the toilet after use, and the hygiene of some guests was disappointing. Staff is friendly though.

Very social hostel with great staff. Made very easily friends in the common area.

Nice place near to hongdae street

Staff is relatively nice. Very expensive for what you get. Bathrooms are not very nice. Rooms and general installations are too small, it feels really claustrophobic. Only stayed one night and had to return to the original place. Better options in the neighborhood.

Very Nice Hostel! I booked private room without bathroom, but sharing not problem, because there are 3th bathrooms for 4th rooms! Room was very comfortable, clean and with condition! Staf/owner very politely! So great place, not far from metro (Sinchon) or other transport Seoul/ Thank u!

Really dirty and very loud

離地鐵站有段距離，尤其還有一段斜坡，如果有拖行李的可以斟酌一下 這間主要是給外國旅客住，所以幾乎都是背包客，所以可能也是因為這樣在環境整潔上沒有很講究 服務部分應該可以一起和設施一起說明，基本上就是只有房間和共用衛浴，剩餘的浴巾、毛巾等都需要另外自己投小費才能拿 有別於一般對民宿的想像。

最難忘的是DJ在星期一早上親自製作的韓國拉麵早餐。簡直就是為早上打開了好開始！而言，夜晚時候會比較嘈吵，大概十二點過後客廳才沒有人談天，也要看同房的會否夜歸或零晨離開宿舍，建議帶備耳機或耳塞。毛巾與儲物櫃要付費租用，韓幣1000won。而宿舍附近的餐廳也蠻多！方便選擇。

I volunteered in this hostel in exchange for accommodation for 5 months and it was a great experience! The staff room is small but comfortable. And the hostel has a really homey atmosphere. All the people were really nice and i met a lot of new friends here! The motto of the hostel is that “everyone owns this place” and that’s what it feels like. It feels like a community. DJ was always really nice and talked to everyone. When it came to the weekly schedule he tried his best to meet all the expectations! So I really recommend volunteering here!

Friendly hostel, good location, feels like home. Staff helpfull and enjoyable staying!! They have restaurants recommendations and the main street from hongdae just 5 minutes away as subway station. I enjoyed the Tuesday ramen so be sure to have it every Tuesday!

I've stayed at the Time Traveller Relax hostel as a staff member for most of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 during my working holiday stay in South Korea and absolutely loved the place and experience. Dj, the host and owner, is very kind and welcoming and will make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The atmosphere at the hostel is inviting and social, as the hostel is quite small and homey. I felt very lucky to find this hostel during my first vacation to Seoul and to later return as a staff member. I sure will return as soon as I get the chance to!
