Myeongdong Merlin Hotel

I would like to thank the front desk team, given us such great hospitality and helping us where to go in Seoul. The hotel we stay facing Namsam Tower mountains view and is close by train station in Chungmuro exit 4,Myeong-dong, Namdemum Market and many more close by train. We stayed 7 nights, but unfortunately, the room has a washing machine and is not working sadly. We have to do manually washing by ourselves. Overall, we had lovely days in Seoul and highly recommended staying in Merlin Hotel.

Stay here in early December. The room has a floor heater, but it wasn’t strong enough and I was freezing all night—luckily, only stayed for one night. There’s an air conditioner, but it's labeled for cooling only, so it didn’t help with heating the room. The room also has a small upstairs area, but it's not for sleeping. The washing machine is labeled as broken. The location is a bit distance from the metro but acceptable, bus stop is nearer. The front desk can help store luggage for early check-ins or post-check-out, and they also provide a universal adapter if needed. Overall, it was okay

What a surprise, fridge is wardrobe. I can climb and feel young.

Not bad

We stayed here only for a few nights but there were moments which were a bit difficult. Check in was really easy and the staff was very kind. When we got to the room it was kind of surprising tho. Washing machine was broken (but it had a big fridge which was a bit difficult to find at first). Surprisingly the room had a high ceiling and a second floor! The bathroom has a glass door (but its milky glass so you cannot see through!!!!) but you could not lock up the door and there were small gaps next to the door which was a bit uncomfortable… i imagine it to be a bit awkward to travel with friends since everything can be heard outside of the bathroom. And the mirror had some interesting stains… The bed could also be a bit difficult for people who cannot sleep on hard mattresses but i could sleep well. The pillows made kind of plastic sound when laying on it but also nothing too bad. There are no nightstands or outlets right next to the bed where you could easily charge your phone but across the room there were enough outlets! Next to the bed was the big window where you could see the Namsan Tower which was very nice! But the windows were quite dirty and it was really cold because the windows did not isolate the cold outside very well (we stayed in February). Even when we closed the curtains it was a bit cold… The floor was pretty warm but since the room was so spacious it was difficult for the heating to warm up the room. We got new towels everyday but one towel was a bit torn… trash also got thrown out everyday which was really nice. Location was great! It was really close to line 2,3,4 and 5. And in the Lobby there was access to a kitchen which was very convenient.

Really enjoyed staying the hotel. I could get the clear N-tower view directly from the room. 100% visit again.
