Serengeti Wild Camp

Camping but not really. The tent is more like a marquee with 2 double beds and an ensuite bathroom so our kind of camping. Clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Take a shower in the evening as they work on solar power and solar water heating so by the morning there was little hot water. You are in the Serengeti so open to all the wildlife and we had buffalo walking through the camp in the early morning and evening with lions very close one night (we could hear their roaring). Food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

We had a wonderful stay at SWC. The food was excellent and the staff were sooo attentive. Feeling ill one day, I stayed back at the camp while my travelling companions went on safari. Although I was the only guest there, the staff prepared a beautiful lunch for me and set up a table in the shade. I will never forget their kindness. I highly recommend SWC if you want to be immersed in nature (we woke up to the sight of elephants roaming in the fields) yet still enjoy many of the comforts of home.

Stunning location, tents were huge we had a 3 person with 3 four poster beds an en suite bathroom with hot running water, electricity for charging, even wifi that reaches to your tent! We were greeted with hot towels and welcome drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and gave it a 5 star feel. Thank you I feel very lucky to have stayed here!

Beautiful, well equipped glamping tents. Stunning, peaceful setting, just listen to the birds & animals, including a distant lion roar. Really friendly, helpful staff & good quality, tasty food. Definitely recommend a stay. Wish we were staying longer than 2 nights.

This tented camp impressed us in every way! It is nestled in an incredibly beautiful location where the tents blend perfectly with the environment. We were welcomed with smiles by staff and they were excellent throughout our stay. The rooms were made from canvas and fashioned to ensure the guest's comfort, they are spacious and tastefully furnished with a nice comfortable bed, a mosquito net, plenty of wicker seats in the room and on the patio. The staff would help to open the tent sides giving amazing views in all directions right from the room or from the patio. Sometimes in the evening we would just seat and enjoy the glorious sunsets with dreamy orangey hues over a chilled Kilimanjaro lager. The service was amazing. I cannot find any fault from the staff, they put our comfort and happiness first with everything well maintained and in perfect working order. Actually we enjoyed the mealtimes at the restaurant as food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. I am glad that we went to Serengeti Wild Camp for our family vacation.

It was an amazing experience. We slept in a tent, completely in the wild. The tents are comfortable and in there is everything you need. During the night you can hear the lions and hyaenes and a lot more animals. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and funny. We felt very welcome and in good hands. Good food, very delicious lunch packet for the game drive. We would definitely recommend a stay !
