Kololi Beach Resort

The location is good. And the staff is friendly. Enjoyed that i could contact the reception or get assistance via what's app. However I did have a mishap with my booked transport to the airport, so you have to continuously remind the staff. There were also cockroaches that came from other rooms. But otherwise a good stay and place

Vi hade turen att få en uppgradering från standard till överlägsen - vad vi önskar nu när vi inte var det. Incheckningen var en intressant upplevelse och trots att städaren nästan körde ut ur vårt rum vid utcheckningen fanns det inget alternativ för att komma in i rummet tidigt om det var klart. Inte en stor sak som kunde gå använda poolen och handdukar tillhandahålls. Rummet var stort, rent med badrummet lite daterat med ett trasigt handtag på dörren och ett duschmunstycke som var lite temprementellt. Det största problemet var bullret från baren tvärs över vägen som fortsatte till runt 4 am på helgen och om 2 am under veckan. Inte hotellets fel - och eftersom vi bara var där en kort tid bad vi inte om att få flytta rum eftersom orsaken till uppgraderingen för det första var bristen på standardrum och ärligt talat kunde jag inte bry mig om att packa och packa upp igen (den helgens extra tid är de två senaste nätterna). Om du får ett rum i Stones-byggnaden skulle mitt råd vara att be att få flytta till det andra boendet. Medan Stones-byggnaden har en egen pool, ligger det en bit från stranden (och huvudbostaden) och poolområdet - lägg till det till bullret från baren (och det byggs en ny bar direkt mitt emot) en dämpare på din semester - såvida du inte är där för att dricka till de tidiga timmarna så kommer det att vara perfekt eftersom du inte har långt kvar att gå tillbaka. Drycker var på något sätt dyrare i den översta baren än strandbaren (för öl). Vi provade inte maten men rekommenderar milkshakes. Övergripande platsen är bra som bort från huvudremsan och en mycket kort promenad till apparken. Jag skulle bara stanna här igen om det var i logiblocken nära den största poolen/stranden.

Superb, so quiet, efficiently run; all staff so helpful, comfy bed, we were S/C, bit basic S/c but adequate Gardens fantastic…3 pools… 2familynpool I think were were at the aged end‼️‼️😂😂😂 ‘our’ pool was only used by (4 today) usually just 6 people… I would certainly come here again… and again… and again we’ve been coming to the Gambia every year since 1990‼️‼️this is the best apartment yet. This resort is really beatiful, with a very nice garden, with lots of birds. The pools are nice and the beach is very nice as well. Staff is mostly friendly and helpfull. Sadly there are a few annoying factors to your stay at this location. Although there is not much that the mangement can do about it, there is a lot of noise coming from the street where the hotel is situated. There is something like a disco across the street which plays very hard music which continues till around 05.00am. It is impossible to get a rest if you are staying in one of the apartments close to the street (like "stones"). This certainly would be a reazon for me not to book at this resort again. Something what the management can do something about is the inefficiency of the restaurant. More than once it took more than an hour to get our diners served. It is a chaos and the waiters don't know which customers are being served and which are not. Breakfast was included in our case. Still time after time they tried to charge us for our breakfast once more. After we had payed for our diners and drinks at the restaurant we were charged for these again when checking out at the reception. These mistakes were all fixed with out much discussion, but it is annoying.

We stayed at this resort as a group of nine, and very Apartments and the Nian Villa. The resort itself is a treasure. Its location is fantastic as it is very close the strip and restaurants and bars. . The apartment suited couples and single travellers . The staff are friendly and welcoming although we felt the site manager was a little dismissive to some of our enquiries . We booked direct which saved us a little bit of money included free air-conditioning . The grounds are lovely in some areas, although some work is required around the Nian Villa . The Philip was a beautiful Hideaway, which suited a couple and two single travellers. It also accommodated the rest of our party when they came over for drinks et cetera . We all agree that we would definitely return

The staff were great very helpful and nothing was too much bother. There was a mix up about the room when we got there, we booked a twin bed but got a double bed. It was sorted by the next day which was really nice. The Wi-Fi definitely needs to be improved. When we first got there it was ok but when we moved to the top floor we couldn’t get any wi-fi in the room. The rooms are basic, the beds are HARD and no tv but to be honest I didn’t miss the tv. Would I stay again?? Yes-because the price was good/location. No-it would be nice to try others hotels on Paradise Beach and the bed was so hard.
