Balafon Beach Resort

Absolutely stunning location, in front of the ocean. Excellent service, they are all lovable and take care of you. Spacious rooms, stunning garden surrounding you with lot of birds and vegetation. Illl come for sure other times. Thanks!!

Het is een fijn verblijf, zeer ruime kamers. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooie locatie, dichtbij de strip, maar er niet tegenaan. Er zijn wel veel insecten in Gambia en die kom je helaas ook wel eens tegen op je hotelkamer. Ze maken het grondig schoon, maar ze kunnen niet alles voorkomen.

想像以上に良かったです。多くのスタッフから歓迎する雰囲気を感じられました。海の眼の前で、ビーチチェアのすぐ近くにSecurity がいたので安心してゆっくりとした時間を過ごせました。唯一、部屋のシャワーが冷たいお水しかでなかったのが残念でした。洗面台はお湯が出たのですが…。

This hotel is one of my favourite hotels in The Gambia, I took my wife here for her birthday the location was perfect, The first room we stayed in had mould on the walls and smelled a bit damp, But once we spoke to the hotel manager Omar he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, He upgraded our rooms which was now flawless and right at the beach front for location and rooms this simply is one of the best hotels in The Gambia. We had a pool right outside our balcony door. This was also connected to the beach i truly loved this place it had a modern design but worked perfectly. I love the way the Pool glow up in thenight Time beautiful colour. This Hotel was both modern and beautiful with a slice of nature in the middle. I could just take pictures all day. As I said, this is one of my Favourite hotels in the Gambia and I’ve been to many from Coco Ocean, to Kasmai Beach Resort, Kololi Beach Resort to the Tamara Beach, and this hotel is far more better than many of these hotels. I will be definitely coming home again. The only downside was one of the waiters who kept trying to hitting on my wife speaking in Wolof this was off putting and unappropriate behaviour.

Dirty hotel filthy mildew all over shower area broken sofa tv no go for days constant cut outs causing hazards in room.i looked forward to staying here but endured all these things .powers cutting every night making it a hazard has there's a step step in the room.

The hotel is beautifully set by a lovely beach. The rooms.are very large and comfortable and the terrace of our ocean view room had swiping vistas of the ocean. The restaurant is by the beach and we had very good meals there. The price-quality ratio of both the room and the food at the restaurant were excellent. The staff is excellent, dedicated and discreet. Special mention for Margaret from the restaurant staff, who was very nice and welcoming to us.

My stay at the balafon was amazing ! The pools , the beach , the bar , the staff everything together was such a great experience ! Specially lamin m. F camara and his team took amazing care off us. He made shure everything was perfect during my stay , he also made shure i could have a late checkout and shower before leaving because i had an evening flight.
