Hotel Ca'n Bonico

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Simply fabulous. In the center of Ses Salines this hotel is simply fantastic. Our room was in the garden, very quiet and silent. It is seems like an adult only hotel, as I guess family with children will not elect hotel like this. Breakfast is excellent with fresh orange juice at the table, with kitchen open to prepare eggs in the way you like to have, an handmade excellent cookies. The hotel is nearby the best beaches in Mallorca even if it is not in the sea. The garage is just outside the hotel and free. Finally, we regret to book only 2 nights. we could not prolonged one night additional as it was full! Highly recommend ! Staff very helpful and kind

Loved my stay at this hotel! The grounds were stunning, the rooms were clean and spacious with luxurious shower and lighting, the staff was attentive and helpful. Can't say enough nice things! The location was central and the parking was very convenient. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This idyllic hotel is nestled in the gorgeous town of Ses Salines. A property that has many of its original features but with new and contemporary elements that blend in beautifully. The feeling of the property exudes calm with amazing staff to attend to your every need. Our room was in the old building, very spacious with a vaulted ceiling. There was a dressing room area before entering the bedroom and the en-suite was off the main bedroom space, some of the doors are very old which we loved. The hotel is made up of cool sitting spaces and various courtyards and Outside is a beautiful pool surrounded by gardens, olives and lemon trees. There is a covered chill out space by the pool with hanging chairs and sofas should you need respite from the sun. The gardens are edged with further rooms. The hotel is surrounded by a few restaurants serving the freshest fish and Mallorca’s wine. We will revisit for sure.

The buildings and the garden are very beautiful and relaxing. Worthwhile! The welcome by the receptionist however was disappointing. He was obviously not in the mood to welcome new guests and explain functionalities of the house. However, the pool bar staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel room was spacious, but only equipped with the most basic furnishings (no toilet brush, old crumbled coffee and tea bags, lamp shade damaged, etc.). There is no beverage service after 19:00. Unfortunately, there is an obvious lack of eye for details. A pity!

A year later we are sitting in a magnificent Mallorcan hotel and we find ourselves reminiscing about the worst Mallorcan places we've ever stayed in during our 14 trips. And there is only one winner, Can Bonico. It was so awful we couldn't even review it at the time, we didn't know where to start. All the bad reviews are our exact experiences: Room1 ( we are not Fussy, but we'll sound like pain in the arses, brace yourself:) advertised as with terrace , separate shower and bath. LOL. Teeny room with balcony facing a wall, we could both just about stand on it. In the dark. Shower broken, bathroom filthy. Actual brown stains ... have pics . Had to stay one night, zero sleep. Room2: shown to us by grumpy reception with rolling eyes- its ....nice ish. We're told we were "taking it " from a wheelchair user. Really? Because steps and not accessible bathroom but ok... air conditioning sounds like tractor. Music producer husband records it for the sheer wow factor. Shower stuck permanently only child , as in toddler, could fit under it . No shower door, door of bathroom rotten as result. Bath no plug. Room 3: repeat air con noise, now losing patience, first holiday in years, still haven't slept, wagon on desk aggressive and getting more so. We book another place, they've heard of the problems at can bonico, they will take us. Book taxi. Wagon at front seat says no refund. We've paid for 10 days. Paid extortionately too. Some other guests also unhappy. Other staff sympathetic and sweet. They've seen it all before. I block my credit card cos I have a feeling... she tries to take our money. Discovers block. Says she will call police I say please do, we've a lot to say to them. You've broken contract, this is not as advertised. Suddenly there is another room. Beautiful, big, great bed, super bathroom, quiet air con, a f%^&ING miracle .... nice reception girl is relieved. Other staff congratulate us. Other guests joke with us next morning and we all laugh and agree we'll never stay in this hellhole again. Literally never had such a bad experience. Beautifully kept grounds. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Great parking . Near everything including beaches a short drive. Lovely, really lovely staff apart from you know who .. omg ... shower for pool hidden away so people don't know where it is and so the pool has film of grime every day, gross. There are a few very, very nice rooms, but if you book one, don't assume you'll get it. That's a mistake we made. But then, was that actually our fault??? Ermm .... that's a resounding no. Dishonest advertising. And dear hotel please don't respond. Ugh.
