Hotel Due Mari

Let's start with such good points as there are. The hotel is dated in a genteel, antique kind of way which is very much in tune with the local area. It's lovely that the filing cabinet behind reception looks like it's been there since the place was built, and the manager's office is labelled as such with a glass divider in front. The pool is nice, with plenty of deck chairs and the saltwater Jacuzzi is a nice touch. The views of the bay from our first room (see below) were nice, if obstructed. The bed was decent, and the air con did its job. Can't think of much else good to say. On the downside: My wife had a massage. At €65/1hr it was reasonably priced but not cheap. However, there was a phone in the room which rang three times during her treatment, a member of staff knocked on two separate occasions, and once came in to get something out of a cupboard - during this time my wife was laid on the table with nothing but a towel covering her with two men in the room, which I understand was not a relaxing experience for her. When she complained, the receptionist explained that she really needed something that was kept in that cupboard. If you're going to advertise yourself as a hotel with a spa, you need a quiet

We stayed here for 1 night....room was very comfortable! bathroom small but clean and nice. Breakfast was superb with lots of iptions of eggs, pastries, etc. Service was excellent. Lovely bay of the Silence just a block away and on the other front the ocean!! superb. Go to the roof to take extraordinary pictures of the bay .

The hotel is lovely, ideally situated between the two bays and in very easy walking distance to them both. The room was on the side of the hotel and it was ideal and from the top left hand corner of the window you got a sea view, an added bonus. The room was comfortable and was cleaned each day. The staff were superb and very friendly. The meals were gorgeous, so tasty and with a decent variety of choices.

This is an excellent and friendly hotel. The accommodation is quirky and laundry services excellent. The staff are very friendly and efficient. It is popular with the locals to celebrate family occasions in the garden conservatory. Food is excellent.

Great old style charm hotel with attentive staff and solve it attitude. Meals were good and not so good but purely taste. Plentiful sbd breakfast was good. Best position between the two bays of Silence and Fairytales and an easy walk either through the old town or shore front to the station, 15 mins.

This was a great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location between the two Bays was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. And staff were helpful in packaging a small item for me to ship to my next location after I forgot it. The hotel is a little on the older side, but rooms were good.
