We have been going to Bayview Wildwood off and on for over 15 years. We have always enjoyed our stays until this year. Although the front desk staff, bar staff and entertainment was great, our biggest complaint was with the main restaurant. Over the years we always looked forward to the fine dining the restaurant provided. This year the food was terrible. Our bill was wrong and we stood for 15 to 20 minutes to have it corrected. The final answer was the just gave us cash for the adjustment because they couldn't seem to figure out how to do a credit??? I made a point of writing to the resort because I felt it was such a shame that this was the best they could offer, with no response. I feel dining is a big part of any vacation and the resort have decided to cheap out on this important component

Stayed here for 3 nights in a 2 bed suite which was perfect for families. One room had a small couch and dining table which made it easy when we got takeout food from the B&W market. My daughter loved the kids club and it gave us a few hours to ourselves each day. The outdoor pool is small and was a bit crowded but good overall. The small beach area is great, with paddleboards and kayaks available plus an inflatable waterpark! I used the gym for a workout, it's very small but nice to have the option. We did not use the indoor pool. The reason this place only gets 4 stars is the food in the restaurant, it's average at best and it very expensive for what you get. We preferred the takeout food from the market. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would return.

This is the perfect getaway for our family! It’s our time to unplug and unwind. The beach is always a blast with the inflatables and fishing. We enjoy the pool and activities! No night is complete until we gather for all the planned entertainment! Our grumpy teenagers were caught smiling and laughing!

We are long time returning guests. We stayed for a week and our visit was almost perfect except for quite a few dining room issues. The resort looks amazing, nice landscaping, very clean, our cottage was perfect for our family, rec program is great, office staff is friendly and helpful. However, the food this year was hit or miss. Breakfast and lunch buffets were generally good- except some finishing touches were missing - like topping for the tacos- no sour cream, lettuce, etc. or sauces for the egg rolls, etc. -just small things that should have been included. Also, it might be a good idea to require parents to accompany children at the buffets. We saw a group of little guys put their mouths on the lemonade spigots and lick the jars, and touch all the desserts. Dinner was our main issue. More traditional dishes would be appreciated. And what we did order was overcooked or small portioned- literally 3 slivers of sausage in the tortellini dish. We actually went out to dinner 2 nights while at the resort due to the choices that were offered. Also, although the wait staff was friendly and attentive, we had difficulty communicating our needs at times. And unfortunately, I hate to say it, lots of body odor issues which is not something you want to experience in the dining room. And finally, lunch was not served on the Sunday but is provided in the snack bar for guests. However, when we went to the snack bar to order, the staff had no idea what was going on. When the situation was finally resolved and it was determined that yes, we get a lunch it took 2 hours!!! for chicken fingers, burgers and fries....We have rebooked for next summer, we love the lake and the resort itself. However, we are unsure if we will be getting a meal plan again or cooking our own meals. Bayview is known for it's amazing food, but this year, it just wasn't up to par. Hopefully, these issues can get resolved.

This site is stunning and the staff were incredible hosts for our conference week. We truly enjoyed our experience. The food is delicious and serving staff were efficient, kind, and thoughtful with the guests. Would love to visit again in the future

We have been to this resort for 13 plus years. There have always been minor issues throughout our stays but this year was an absolute Tsunami of avoidable neglect: -The tap water turned brown, like not light brown but dark brown. -The TVs wouldn't work even after calling maintenance to rectify. -There were not enough beds to accommodate all the people in our party. -The pool in the last few years installed video cameras, which feels weird and invasive. Plus the pool has been closed indefinitely. -No hand soap provided in the bathrooms except tiny bars of "Face Soap." -Hair dryer was removed from each bathroom - There was a random man who was vomiting, living in the basement mechanical room that was apparently renting there. - Our server in the restaurant had offensive smelling body odour. - The meals were served cold with tiny portions for an exhorbitant price. - The resort is trying to maximize profits while minimizing service. This is so unfortunate as we loved going to Bayview Wildwood for many years with incredible memories. We will NOT be returning to the resort for all of the above reasons.

Our group of staff (14) enjoyed a one week stay in February 2024. Very much appreciated the warm welcome, inviting resort located in Severn bridge. Staff shared that the meals provided were delicious and the customer service provided by Sarah is like no other. Will come to this resort again and hopefully in the summer!

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. our server Sarah was so kind and friendly, she went above and beyond to make our dining experience to be wonderful and filling. Trivia night such a fun time. Thank you for the hospitality and great experience.
