South Point Villas Cerf Island

A perfect vacation at the hidden gem - South Point Villas. This is the place if you want a quiet, private, and relaxing vacation. Michael and Christine are wonderful hostesses, and Christine is also a great cook. She makes the best octopus curry ever! We used the kayak for free daily and explored Cerf Island and the neighboring islands, which most people pay a fortune to go visit. Great for snorkeling as well. Cant wait to come back!

The location was great, the people were very friendly and the houses (we lived in Sunrise, our friends in Cache) were clean, with nice interior, a private pool and a spacious terrace. Kayaks were available to do some trips with the kids and very nice snorkeling spots could be reached, where others need to rent a boat. It was really beautiful!!

Don't miss an opportunity to experience a private island. We enjoyed using the Kayaks to get around. The Micheal and staff were extremely warm and super friendly, which I enjoyed the most. We were lucky enough to have South Point Villas all to ourselves, which was priceless. Would we go back... absolutely. Small Tip - and not the fault of South Point villas, but it would have been nice to know. Please DO NOT buy food at the recommended Spar as it is daylight robbery. I paid $15 USD for one papaya. As you are paying for the transfers anyway, ask to be taken to any other supermarket along the way, as the driver will let Micheal know when you are ready to be collected.

This place is where our journey in Seychelles began and where we spent my boyfriend 30th birthday. I am so impressed about this experience, which is for sure not common and it is definitely a must do at least once in a lifetime if you look for out of the beaten path experiences. The villas are located in Cerf, which is a pristine island in front of Mahè. We met Michel at the port and he took us to the villa with a little boat. Once we arrived we met Christine. Both of them were very kind and we loved the meals she prepared for us. We also had a lot of fun exploring the island with the free kayaks available in the structure. We couldn’t ask for more for my boyfriend birthday. He really appreciated everything ☺️ Can’t wait to be back.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans la Villa Cache, pour 6 personnes. Inoubliable ! La vue sur l'océan est spectaculaire. La villa est très bien décorée, et très spacieuse. Les 3 chambres sont très jolies, et le salon/véranda magnifique. Effectivement, on est coupé du monde car accessible seulement en bateau et pas de chemin sur l'île. Seule possibilité : le snorkling en bas de la villa ou le kayak. Une fois qu'on a compris ça, on profite de ce sentiment de Robinson Crusoé pendant quelques jours! Michel et Christine sont aux petits soins, prêts à donner des conseils. Attention, en hiver (août), les courants sont très forts et il y a beaucoup de vent, ce qui limite la pratique de la mer à la partie Marée basse.
