Catskill Seasons Inn

This place is FALSE ADVERTISING in EVERY picture!!! Booked the INN~perhaps those are the photos? Directed to the “ chalet” a building on the same property. This building should be condemned A/C units barely hanging on to windows, door to room w/ HUGE gap,, also filthy Walked into Smokey room( fireplace in corner of room so reeked of smoke) Dirt on floor Bed appeared to be on last leg Literally walked out and drove away

Planned to stay 3 nights but family issue cut the trip short. This budget friendly, rustic inn was very accommodating. Kitchenette is very handy, full fridge & stove in our room. Have to say, the staff is personable & helpful. I hope to return. 😊

We booked the seasons inn for a little family getaway along with our friends and their family. We’re from NJ and have stayed at a few places in the Catskills, and this was our first time at the Catskills Seasons Inn, and we really loved it! Because of Tropical Storm Debby, there was a power outage, which also affected the water, during our stay, so we had to leave earlier than expected. If we didn’t have our toddler and baby with us, my husband and I would have stayed, but the kids needed electricity and water. Before Debby ruined everything, we did get a couple of rainy/cloudy days in. We stayed in rooms 15 and 16 in the Chalet building. They’re connecting rooms, so our kids stayed in one, and my husband and I stayed in the other. The layout and spaciousness of the rooms were perfect for us. There was enough room to lay out the baby’s play mat and toys on the floor and not feel like everything was too close together. I’ve had back surgery and usually find hotel beds awful, but I actually slept really well here! The kitchens were super helpful. The kids had their kitchen for easy to grab snacks, and we had ours for meal planning. (Sorry @Catskills Seasons Inn, we probably mixed up all the pots, pans, and dishes between the two rooms). We had one small mishap with one of the microwaves, but they were quick to help and fix it! Our kids braved the chilly weather and were determined to have fun in the pool. I wish we could have had one nice sunny day to really enjoy it. I was not as determined as my kid! They also braved a chilly hike around the property. We were able to eat at the pub one night. The menu was limited, but the food was good. I really enjoyed my burger! Caitlin was our bartender and server. She is soooooo kind! Kids were kind of crazy and she was so patient with us. We really enjoyed our stay and wished the weather would have been better. Hopefully next summer we can enjoy a longer stay!!

Gem of a place nestled in the mountains. We only were able to stay one night but it's a great place. The room was comfortable and the pub and grounds were great. The pub was friendly and served great pub food and local beer and cider. Would stay again.

Firstly, the location is lovely and the staff is even better, totally accommodating and welcoming. The pub’s food and beer are exceptional. The pool is well-kept and there’s a beautiful walking trail. The bed was comfortable and the television worked fine. The continental breakfast was not what we expected, lacking many staple foods. We decided to eat at a diner and restaurant both mornings instead, which wasn’t a big deal. However, there were quite a few issues that made us pause. The balcony had a cup of cigarette buds with a dirty table and the drawers inside had screws and a doorknob. The door connecting to the opposite room wasn’t enough to keep out the loud guests on the other side, partying loudly from 10:30 pm - 4:00 am. There wasn’t any staff I could call or connect with on site to remedy the situation. I was texting someone about it and they were very apologetic, which I appreciated. But I, myself, had to confront the rude guests to try and make the party quieter, which they did for fifteen minutes. Something like the Wild West at nightfall. All in all, for the price, it was fine. We probably won’t stay there again, but we would definitely patronize their pub - one of the better bars you’ll find up there. And we would have slept very soundly if the walls weren’t so thin.

Was a great stay for us and the pups. Definitely would stay again. Slept well. Quiet. Simple breakfast: teas, coffee, cereal, waffles... clean rooms and close to hunter mountain. Stayed in their smallest room, and felt like the size was decent for 2 people and 2 dogs. Definitely wonder what the other rooms are like since they are larger. Most likely would book again next time I'm up by hunter.

Stayed 2 nights for Valentines ski trip. Room amenities (spa tub and fireplace) were very nice features. Unfortunately, the room really needed a good cleaning and maintenance. The fireplace was full of ash and the floor had a lot of ash/dust on it. The door needed weatherstripping to prevent col air from blowing right in (you can see through the gap!). The bed was broken and even though we requested help with that at the front desk, no one ever showed up to fix it. Really appears that they are understaffed with no pride of ownership.

Clean, safe and very accommodating. Tucked away in the middle of the mountains this was a great family getaway. A wonderful place to stay for a ski trip. We had a few requests such as a rollaway bed, more towels, and for something to be mailed to us that we left behind. We communicating everything via text which made it extremely convenient. The breakfast was a nice start to the day. Quick and easy and then off to the mountain. The balcony and Mountain View’s are superb. I just don’t understand why there aren’t door knobs on the outside of the door when you’re on the balcony! I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway.

Unsafe and dirty hotel room with terrible management. Room 27. This room stinks of smoke. I am traveling with two small children. We told the management as soon as we entered the room because the smell was very strong. They told us that the previous guests had smoked and offered us two cans of room spray (see picture) to deal with the smell. The room’s sheets were dirty and stained (see pictures). The room’s blinds were ripped off the window frame (see picture). When we asked management to fix these, they said they took a look and could not. No offer to remedy it in any way. We have no way to block out the sun in the morning or the corridor lights outside which are on all night. The back door of the room does not lock with the deadbolt. The door is slightly ajar and lets in cold air. The only way to prevent someone from coming in is with the swing bar door guard. This is not a safe or clean hotel. Do not stay here.
